INVISIBLE FOREST

As soon as the knife caught Drew's throat, everything shuttered down. There hazy mind blew away as the strength they had, got hold of them. Luca's eyes got blur, the tears that he has been holding for long now dropped down like dripping water. His body slammed on the floor where Drew's body was lying, struggling with life. The unseen life which was in everyone's eyes, they new that his heart was surrendering even though it was trying so hard to keep his pulse a live. It was giving up already even if his eyes were telling that he didn't want to die yet. Crimson thing like blood covered the whole floor his hands trying to hold on even more tighter on Luca. His lips were trembling tears streaming down like water falls. He couldn't imagine, he was the next in line. Next to die and leave his only friends alone. He never thought that he'll die this young, having not enjoying life. ' Oooh! Poor me! Is this how am dying?' he asked beneath himself tears falling down continuously glaring at his two friends. Even though he was dying, at the same time he felt happy, artilist he wouldn't watch his friends die Infront of his eyes. With the little strength he was left within him, he struggled to find some words his hands still holding on Luca as if he didn't want him to let go of him.

' Pl.....ease.....l..... don't want.....to.....ohoh! I don't want to die now Lu....Luca. I don't want to... But am happy am dying. I don't have much time, but Ohooh! Please stick together.' he cried coughing out more blood, his eyes showing no hope of him living.'

' Please hold onto me Drew. I was the target, why did you come and shield me, you could have left me die instead.' Luca muttered in pain his lips trembling.'

' Am so...sorry, Andy.....' he called as Andy who was still strucked with his sudden attack, came back to reality when his fading voice called out his name.'

' Drew.....You... you're leaving me? Like this.....this falling tears? Please try to fight. You can't just die like this. Remember the sweet memories that we shared, you and l, why leave me now.' he cried his hands gripping onto his wrists tightly.'

' Shhhh! You must run, save your life now or you're next, especially you Luca, you can't die now. Take this diamond shaped gem that l took from Lyn's room the day l came to visit. I think this what she's looking for inorder to awake her husband. Hide it and....and...make su....sure she.... doesn't get it...at all, please... brothers.' he said struggling with his last breath. His eyes closed slowly his body getting cold as if he had long gone.

' Drew, please don't give up now you know we've got a good life ahead right, please fight for us and if not for us then for our promised that we.....

' Luca, Andy, run she's coming, Drew is already dead.' Alex shouted approaching them. He had already confirmed that Alah was coming and she wasn't too far away from them.'

' No, l can't leave him. We cannot leave him especially here when that old woman is coming. We better find away to help, see his still breathing, Alex, l can feel it, Nooo, we can't.....' Luca cried still holding on Drew's long dead body tightly. His body was as cold as ice but blood was still flowing from his throat.

' There's no time to cry now. It's too late to save him.' Andy said squeezing his shoulders standing even though he was holding too to burst out in tears on the umpteenth time.

' Nooooo! Drew come back, come back for even just once, l still got some unfinish business with you. Can't you just even show me your smile?' he still cried. This time Alex had no option than to carry him like a sack. Since he was too engrossed about Drew's death, he knew no matter what, Luca won't stand unless he is dragged away forcefully.'

' Drew! Drew! Dreeew! Am sorry.....l won't help to forgive myself for not helping you.....' his words were cut by his sudden pass out. Alex had to make him sleep in order to reduce his screams. Even though they were hurting too by loosing such a kind person like him, but what else can they do? They won't risk the life of another person cause of their mourn. They'll mourn in deeply there heart as they struggle to fight. They ran through the forest side Mr Tan leading the way. No one spoke till they both halted in an unknown place.

Though the place was as scary as the forest itself, but still they could feel its safety. By that time, Luca had already woken up. His eyes were swollen and his cheery face had turned into something unreadable. Lyn who used to comfort him back then, now she was as scary as hell. Not because of how sad he was, but because of his health. She knew that his brother was sick and it was getting worse from the look of her eyes day by day and the medicine she had brought it with her, she doesn't know if it'll last him for long. As she tries to gather herself once again, Alex squeezed her shoulder with an assuring nod that everything's gonna be fine. She took a deep breath her eyes scanning at the forest as the heart beat she was feeling disappears. She had to swallow the strong lump from her throat just to feel at ease or else she might again burst into tears scaring others.

' Where are we? Linet asked trying to clear the long silence from everyone.'

' We are in the Dark Forest. The forest for few but for those whose eyes are blind can't see the many.' Mr Tan Woo said confusing them more.'

' Dark forest? You mean the invisible Forest? Andy asked surprising even Mr Tan Woo himself.'

' How did you know this is the Invisible Forest? Do you have some of the connectivity about these forest?

' No Mr Tan, l somehow read so many articles about these forest. It's the most old existing forest than the ones that are existing right now. It's where weak people hid themselves when an attack out burst. And the first person to cast a spell was Doctor Lee Hiah. The one who died mysteriously but to those who knew him better, they say that, he never died, his spirit keeps on wandering around these forest to protect the weak.' He slowly explained making sense to those who didn't knew anything about the Invisible Forest Existence. It was like telling a fairy tale story to a six year old child.

' You mean these forest is under a spell? Luca who has been long quiet, this time opened his mouth, leaving others with no choice than to listen to him.'

' Luca, Mr Tan called staring at him closely.' Actually if you call it a spell, it sounds oldish. These forest is surrounded by a wave of strong spell from the long died witches who were haunted by Doctor Lee Hiah because those witches blood were the only strong thing to protect weak humans like you. And Instead of those witch to protect weak creatures, they ended Killing anywhere they come across with them, and that's when Doctor Lee Hiah took his steps and finished everything. Eventhough l do still doubt he didn't finish all the witches, but l can say they cannot enter the Invisible Forest, it's forbidden for them.'

' You mean we are not alone here? but l can smell blood, fresh blood? Alex questioned his blood running out of him. He was sure that he has feel someone's presence even though no one has seen anyone. And again his conscious was telling him that Mr Tan Woo was upto something. How can he bring them here instead of somewhere else more safetier, especially in the Invisible Forest, why? He questioned his mind staring at Mr Tan Woo in thoughts.
