Teachings Of Death

"Why are we out in the forest instead of being on our way to Yerdbral and why is this guy following us!" Tara complained pointing her fingers at Knight Daryon.

"That is no way to speak to his grace!" Daryon yelled.

"Go fuck yourself."

"What?"

"Tara, language..." Leon said and there was a pause between the two of them. "Daryon, she's my subordinate, you will have to get along with her."

"Getting along is not an issue your grace. But I cannot condone anyone speaking rudely to you." He replied.

"...Ah...this is going to be a problem..." Leon muttered beneath his lips. "Anyway, this was the point where we reached last time when we were hunting the undead wolves right?"

"Yes your grace, I witnessed your might."

Leon looked at Leon with his eyelids half-closed, '...when did this bastard become so fanatical about me.'

"Did you say undead?"

"Yes...there are some wolves exposed to miasma, and they rise again after being killed. I got a quest to get rid of the source and save the forest."

"There's no way he'll be here..." Tara said to herself, looking good down and lost in her thoughts.

"Who?" Leon asked.

She looked at Leon, "You probably might not know this since you don't watch the news. In Age Of Aron, we have seven legendary profession users, who got their legendary professions as soon as they entered the game. And of course, they occupy the number one to seven on the worldwide player ranking board. Among them the number five: is Kamaal, he has a legendary profession; HOLLOW KING. He has been a threat to us in the past when our ways clashed in a dungeon, of course, he got the best of us, he singlehandedly wiped out the entire WhiteOrl guild, he summons undead and can even turn the monsters around into undead by spreading a black smoke called miasma..." She concluded.

"So it is very possible that this Kamaal might be the one behind this incident."

"Yes. what level are you?" Tara asked.

"51..."

"I see you joined late as usual, do you have a legendary profession or a higher rating profession?"

"Not really..."

"Then just decline the quest... You can't win against Kamaal, not with the things you have in your hands right now. You'd have to get past your first awakening and get a legendary profession to face Kamaal." She said.

"First awakening? This is the first time I'm hearing that term."

"...Ah, I'm not surprised. Awakening is something that happens to every player in their hundredth level, new features are unlocked, and the player's race advances too, some may even unlock a race quest."

"Amazing...So has it happened to you yet?"

"Hakita, Loret and Flux are the only ones that have reached their hundredth level."

"I'll reach my hundredth level before we reach Yerdbral."

She first stared, "How the hell is that supposed to be possible. Yerdbral is five days journey, you'd also have to log out, let's say six days. It was over four months ago that a Duke was announced, and you are still level 51, the higher you level up, the harder it is to level up, but you somehow think you can do it in six days?!"

Leon shook his head, "You have forgotten how I roll, I never said six days, I said before we reach Yerdbral."

...Xesoty Temple...(In Erkel city, Glasgow Kingdom)

"The Followers of Neu reached Syvie. Shouldn't we find this suspicious?" Bishop Chilon said.

"Of course, the Followers of Neu has always been a religion that is less Favoured and hunted." Bishop Roth said.

"As much as we want to be careful with the movement of the Followers of Neu because of their dangerous teachings and opposition. Glasgow is requesting that we support them with the Temple's paladin and Holy Knight Order, we have been avoiding them but now that the war seems to be standing we have to decide."

"Our decision can cost us much, this is not something to rush...Bishop Aesop..." Bishop Chilon said.

"Sure it isn't, I am surprised how this is not something to be rushed but you treat distant issues such as the Followers of Neu with topmost priority" Bishop Aesop replied aggressively.

"The Followers of Neu can bring the destruction of the world, of course, that matters take priority!" Bishop Chilon shouted in response.

A little bell rang as the footstep entered the chamber where the bishops all gathered.

"The words of the Heart: Seventh chapter, clause 22; Dare not, oh I say ye dare not to allow thou anger overwhelm thee. For ye are holy and unto a holy people, wash and watch your heart for if they are fragile they doeth no good to your service to thy god."

The entire chamber went silent as the man sat on a very tall chair, he weaved his hand frontward. The Knights in front of him walked toward Bishop Aesop and Bishop Chilon. They slowly stood and walked towards the front.

"I've said this over and over again, you are bishops and are to serve as examples to the temple. No matter is worth you abandoning your teachings, Xesoty, exalts peace of mind above every other virtue, anger is an enemy of our teaching, for you to turn to anger because of matters of this mere world, you know the repercussions of your actions right?"

"Of course Patriarch, we accept our revile." They both responded. The Knights standing behind them raised their swords and placed them above their necks as both of them bowed.

Softly the sword pierced both of them and the Knights returned to their position.

"Now...shall we discuss the matters of this mere world, with our esteemed teaching revolving our minds so we do not lose our way."
