As the girls wake up, Raiden tells them that they're late, for Adrian now is being beaten by Ragna who had to cover up for Galen since he's been heavily injured, earlier.
" The kid is going nuts, Kara... " Raiden says as he points at Ragna, showing Kara that the 'First Awakener of the 1.111th Timeline' is beating up the 'a$$hole' Adrian Waterson mercilessly.

Ragna slices every tentacle he could create, making Adrian have no choice but to abandon using Physical Type Gifts and instead use the Elemental and Energy Type Gifts that his [Greed & Gluttony] had stored from him.

Adrian shoots it all, everything he had over Ragna as Ragna evades many of them while he just rains over at Ragna without thinking straight that it will drain him.
"( For now, despite how draining it is, this rain of attacks should've killed that annoying brat out of nowhere! )"
"( That brat whom I kinda remember at some point, who was he...!? )"
"( I kinda forget, must be someone that only met me a few times, probably...! )"

" Did you have enough!!!? " Adrian shouts at Ragna while constantly firing his Gifts in Ragna's direction.
" This should've killed him... " Adrian says as he finishes the attack, waiting for the dust to be cleared from his rain of Gift attacks.
" Ragna... " Galen says as he watches from a far location, as Ragna told him to stay put during his turn.
" Now where is his corpse...? "
" It should be here, somewhere? " Adrian approached the last known location where he hit last, believing he would find the ashes there.
Adrian looks around that very place, realizing that the bombarded ground leaves no human ashes to be found, making him laugh happily as it happens.
" Ahahaha, guess this is the end of an inse-, huh? " Adrian suddenly realized that his body was cut in half.
" This is the end, you say? " Ragna says after slashing him from behind with his other sword.
" Huh...? " Adrian was shocked to realize it.
" Are you sure about it? "

"( He just went into his own Shadow!? )" Galen realized this, for he suddenly remembers how Ragna killed Arachina earlier for he too comes out from the shadows to do so.

"( There's no time to play now, Waterson... )"
"( Kill these insects... )"
"( You don't have to tell me! )" Adrian says his eyes glowing red as he finally thinks of this with more concern.
" It's time for me to wipe you all out! " Adrian says, releasing another Gift stored inside [Greed & Gluttony].
"( Here it goes... )" Ragna says in his mind, realizing it is time for him to be more offensive.
