Chapter 46 "Man Who Moves Towards Death

Lemon-6 actually wanted to die then and there.

— But she could not die at all.

The small Mechanical Weapon she had posed just lifted off the ground when it was shattered by a blast.

Her body was suddenly blown apart, and her head flew off.

If she were a real human, she would have died at that moment.

But Lemon-6 only felt a burst of severe pain.

She seemed to experience a hallucination called "tinnitus."

Her "brain's" system was affected by the shockwave, causing part of her visual field to turn into a red reboot report, while error messages and warnings continuously scrolled down rapidly; another part turned pitch black, completely invisible; while another part was a constantly fluctuating multicolor... akin to moving a magnet back and forth on an old television set.

What was called "memory," surfaced in her sole intact part of the thinking imager as illogical fragments.
