Jiang Chen glanced at the bottled water on the ground, "Carry it yourself."
"Hey, what kind of attitude is that? I'm a girl!"
Despite his words, Jiang Chen wasn't a petty man and still had some manners. He disregarded his current status, bent down, and smoothly hoisted a box of water onto his shoulder.
"So manly!"
Xu Siyi praised him with bright, animated eyebrows.
Jiang Chen ignored her and walked out of the convenience store, carrying the water.
Xu Siyi followed closely behind.
"Did you ever drink that kind of milk tea when you were a kid?" she asked.
"Back then, I couldn't even afford Coke."
Xu Siyi didn't think he was lying.
She knew Jiang Chen's past was very constrained.
She also understood that the three bottles of milk tea he had just given to those kids were not only for them but perhaps also a gift to his younger self.
Back in the elevator, Xu Siyi pressed the floor button and tilted her head, "Tired? Just put it down on the floor."
