Wang Ye turned his head toward Natalia and asked, "How are things in Kiev?"
Understanding his concern, Natalia replied, "Very stable, nothing unexpected has occurred. Recently, I've pushed through a new regulation strictly controlling foreign investment in the media industry and the expansion of overseas media organizations within Ukraine. Although some embassies from certain countries have lodged what they call protests, saying we are interfering with press freedom, nobody pays them any mind. After all, Ukraine hasn't really gained any benefits from them, so naturally, there's no need to consider their opinions."
Wang Ye smiled knowingly; it seemed the situation in Kiev was exactly as he had anticipated. At this stage, the city's only reliance was on Russia.
Last year's General Election had completely torn apart any facade of cooperation with certain Overseas Forces, leaving no road back.
