The girl who fell in front of the car

Shawn didn't answer right away, he grabbed Barbarra's wrist instead.

"Don't your fingers hurt when you pluck the strings?" Instead of answering, Shawn actually asked Barbarra that way.

Barbara shook her head. "Initially yes. It was a little sore, but, not anymore."

"Shawn." Barbarra called out when Shawn had yet to give Barbarra the answer she wanted. The girl bit her lower lip, thinking for a moment before finally saying, "I'll give you some time to think, Shawn. I hope when we meet again you have the best answer for me."

After saying that, it was Barbarra's turn to grab Shawn's fingers. "Come on, let's go back to the tent, Shawn," she said, "it's cold in here."

Shawn nodded. He followed Barbarra's footsteps to return to the tent.

Back in the tent, Barbarra struggled to sleep, her cheeks still warm. Feeling so embarrassed that she was the only one awake, she pulled the blanket up to his head to cover her blushing face.

As for Shawn, he was lying facing the ceiling of the tent with one arm behind his head, he remembered Barbarra shooting him earlier and how unselfish Barbarra had been in giving him time to think about it. It seemed Barbarra had changed and half an hour later, Shawn had finally fallen into a drowsy state.

The next morning, the seven of them packed up their camping gear because it was time for Shawn's group to head back home.

Barbarra went back to Shawn who was loading the box into the truck, "Shawn," Barbarra called, "I said seriously that I will give you some time to think. That's why I'll be driving Cameron back home this time."

Cameron, who heard this, immediately protested. "Hey, who said i agreed to ride with you, Barbarra?" said the boy.

"If you don't want to, I'll get in the car with Jake then." Barbarra replied to Cameron's words.

"Eh," Jake hastily grabbed Cameron's arm. How could that be, he's still approaching Amy. How could he be in the same car with Barbarra. "Cam, listen. You see, you know, that I was having an approach with Amy. So please understand brother, I can't get in the car with Barbarra. Please, just give in this time, okay?"

"That's your problem not me," said Cameron.

"Aish," Jake almost cursed. But, he tried to hold it in and back to persuade Cameron.

"Come on, bro..."

"Ah, what's in it for me in the car with Barbarra?" Cameron asked then while wiping his nose which didn't really itch.

Well, this is better, Jake thought.

"How about this… I'll give you two lunch tickets to compensate you for the car with Barbarra. What a good suggestion right?"

"Make it three." said Cameron.

Damn it! Jake cursed inwardly. But, what came out of Jake's mouth was, "Deal!" Jake and Cameron then shook hands. The boy smiled contentedly. Three free lunch tickets await.

"Okay everyone. We'll go home first," Cameron said later, "See you at school." He and Barbarra then left first.

"Shawn, bye bye ..." Barbarra said as the car she was in passed which was then followed by Jake and Amy's car while Kara and Dylan had already left.

Shawn nodded with a smile and waved as Cameron, Barbarra, Jake and Amy walked away.

Shawn immediately got into the car following their car from behind. Shawn had no intention of speeding and intended to enjoy the ride home while thinking about Barbarra.

Should he take Barbarra back? Like that time? Like it used to be?

The green trees on either side of the road he passed seemed to be running.

While of driving Shawn thought about accepting Barbarra when he realized that he had not turned on the music, so he intended to do so, put on the music. The boy's attention was slightly diverted from the road when suddenly a naked girl appeared.

Shawn reflex tried to avoid the girl by pressing the brake pedal as fast as he could.

Thankfully it worked out in time so Shawn's car didn't hit the girl. Because Shawn didn't feel any impact on his car. But, from this close, Shawn knew, it was only inches away.

Shawn had just breathed a sigh of relief, when he finally saw that face.

There she is!

The owner of the beautiful voice that filled his head these few days. Mystery girl on the beach that night.

Shawn looked up from the hood. Keep going until their eyes finally meet.

Shawn was silent.

The girl looked at him still with the same gaze as that night.

Her lips moved like she was muttering something. Even a drop of tear seemed to fall again.

Shawn felt his heart sink. What had he actually done to the girl to make her cry full of sorrow like this?

Shawn didn't have time to think further, when suddenly he saw that beautiful body fall in front of his car.
