Davel was left alone with his secretary in the end, but Lycia kept looking back at the door to the man's office even after it was closed from the inside. Davel and Nancy had entered the room because the former needed to study the paperwork for today's meeting, but Lycia didn't feel safe leaving the man alone with the woman she had just met today.
"Are you sure it's okay to leave Davel alone with Nancy? I can see that Nancy looks polite and proper, but we're not sure if she wouldn't do anything to Davel behind those closed doors," Lycia voiced her worries as she followed Shirley to leave Davel's office.
"It's kind of funny," Shirley replied with an amused laugh. "I was worried that Davel would attack Nancy, but you think otherwise?"
Even if Shirley laughed amusedly, Lycia was quite taken aback by the question, and she quickly denied, "It's not like that. I didn't mean to think that Nancy would attack Davel."
