A DATE ON SATURDAY

Lycia had just finished preparing dinner in her humble apartment when she suddenly heard her cell phone ringing from her bedroom. She had been turning off her cell phone ever since she ended up in an argument with her mother earlier today, and it was only an hour ago that she finally turned it on once again.

Even if she wasn't ready to talk to anyone right now, she knew that she couldn't run away forever, and that was why she decided to turn on the phone an hour ago.

An hour had passed after she had turned on her phone, but only now had it rang when she had left it on her bed. She was still in the kitchen, and she took off her apron before washing her hands in the sink, then she carried her feet to her bedroom.
