Lycia couldn't help but remain silent as the four people in the meeting room began discussing their plans regarding Davel's scandal.

Thankfully, Davel stopped showing hostility towards Nick after the lawyer confidently said that he would work hard to help Davel deal with the problems related to the woman named Gloria.

Maybe the lawyer's promise sounded too lame, but somehow Lycia believed that Nick would be able to help Davel. She had known Nick for many years, and she knew that Nick was a very capable lawyer.

And Even if the man had just said that he didn't have much experience, Lycia thought it was just a humble statement from the man. Deep down, she knew that Nick had handled so many big cases in the past, and that was why she was sure that the man would be able to help Davel.
