After Davel ended the video call with Lycia, he actually wanted to go to the girl's place right away. Even if they were far apart, they could see each other's faces through their phone screens, and that was why he could see how shocked Lycia was after finding out the truth about Danielle.

Davel was worried that Lycia would feel very sad if she was alone in her place. After all, he knew that the girl was living alone, and he assumed that one wouldn't feel good if they were alone when they encountered difficulties.
