There was only one reason why Lycia had decided to go see Breyno today, and that was to tell the man that she couldn't bring herself to love him. It had probably only been over a week since she said that she would give Breyno a chance, but she deemed it enough for her to give it a try, and since she didn't want to hurt Breyno even further, she decided to talk to the man today.

Maybe it had only been a little over a week since the day she decided to try to love her senior, but that was enough to let her know that her heart belonged to someone else now, and she felt very wrong if she continued to give Breyno false hope.

Thus, even though her problems with her mother had not been resolved, she chose to solve her problems regarding Breyno first. At the very least, she knew that it would lighten the burden in her heart before she could focus her attention to solve the issue related to her mother.
