Chapter 37

"Arako!"

Crimson turned to see Okara staring down Arako.

"Careful, Okara! Something feels off about him!"

Arako didn't speak, he only raised his left hand and aimed his palm at both Okara and Crimson.

"Get out of the-!"

Arako unleashed a giant ball of white energy, Crimson and Okara quickly powering up. To only collide with the energy ball head-on. Okara holds it with both of his hands and Crimson assists him as well. Within seconds they manage to push it upwards and lead it off into space. However as they expected to see Arako on the other side of the energy blast, they only saw the landscape as Arako had vanished once again.

"Well, that answers our questions." Crimson says with sarcasm.

"Yeah, it also creates a new threat. He's bound to have the Topaz as well. Which means..."

"He's even stronger than before... But something else was off with him. It's like this new body was modified somehow."

"What do you mean?"

"I-I don't know, I wasn't able to fully put my finger on it."

Okara gripped his hands into fists.

"When I thought we finally found peace, he returns."

"That's just how it is, peace never lasts even on earth."

Slowly Okara loosens his grip and takes a deep breath.

"Yeah, you're right..."

Crimson walks up to him and pats him on the back.

"Come on, let's go back home and enjoy the rest of the night. Tomorrow we'll begin training, I have a feeling we're gonna need even more power than before."

Okara smirks as he watches Crimson burst off into the air.

"Yeah, you're right." Okara replies as he chases after Crimson. It Is currently midnight. Crimson and Okara finally return to find everyone waiting for them on the front porch.

"There you guys are!" Cassa screams out at them.

"We thought you guys left to train." Kal remarked as they landed.

"No, no, Okara and I just wanted to fly around for a bit. That's all."

Crimson turned his attention to Rose as she and Lily walked up to him.

"I think it's time we go home, Crimson."

"Yeah, that would be the best idea wouldn't it."

Rose kisses Crimson on the cheek as she walks to their four-seat car. That was silver in the nighttime. As Lily and Rose got into the car, Crimson takes a second to talk to Okara.

"Tomorrow afternoon alright, we'll want to be ready." Crimson whispers in Okara's ear then pats him on the back with a smile.

"See you tomorrow, Crimson."

Okara smiles as Crimson walks to the car as he gets in and buckles up. Rose begins pulling away from the house.

"Well, it seems I should be going home as well. Bell dear could you please drive me home?"

"Sure, thing grandpa."

As Bell and Kal walked to Bell's truck, Cassa and Okara walked into the house.

"I think it's time to put Ru to bed as well."

"Alright, I'll be waiting."

"Okay." Cassa says with a smile as she kisses Okara and walks off to Ru's room. Okara smiles as she walks to the room, however as she enters the room his smile changes instantly to a frown.

"This time, I'll keep you safe."

Okara walks to his and Cassa's bedroom and the night passes. As the next day arrives and the afternoon hits. Okara gets ready to leave in his Gi.

"Where are you going, Okara?"

Cassa asked as she fed baby Ru, while Bell did the dishes.

"Well, I thought it'd be good to keep myself in good shape. So Crimson and I are gonna train."

"Well, alright, just be careful. Okay?"

"Of course."

Okara quickly rushes out the front door as he struggles to put on his left shoe. As he hopped down each step he finally got it on and quickly bursts off into the air towards the old battlefield.

"Something is up."

Cassa turns to look at Bell.

"What do you mean?"

"Couldn't you tell last night? Something was up especially when Crimson whispered into Okara's ear."

"I'm sure it's nothing."

"Cassa, come on now. Be reasonable about this."

"I am being reasonable, Arako is dead, Rose is on our side now. What could be wrong."

"Wait so you don't know?"

"Know... What?"

"Well, I overheard Crimson and Okara a few days ago. Apparently, Rose's lab was left to rubble."

"Okay? What's up with that?"

"That's not all, there was footage of a body being recreated and even clues that showed Arako was the one."

"You're joking, right?" Cassa was so focused on the conversation that Ru kept reaching for his spoonful of food and pulling it into his mouth.

"No, they were serious... I could tell by the way they were talking about it. Cassa... I think you should go train with them. If he really does return, then you need to be at least strong enough to fight for yourself as well."

"But, who will watch-."

"I will, I'll take care of Ru as long as you train to get stronger!"

"Bell, you don't have to do this. I'm sure if he really is coming back, they'll be able to beat him this time with no issue."

"Cassa..."

Bell puts down the last dish and turns to Cassa as she dries off her hands with a towel.

"Are you telling me you rather stay as weak as you are? I mean come on, you have a kid now. If you don't wanna get stronger for yourself at least do it for Baby Ru."

Cassa looked at Ru who still had the spoon in his mouth even though there wasn't anything on it.

"Gu, Gu, Ga, Ma, Maaamaa."

Ru reached out his tiny baby arms towards Cassa. Then weirdly enough created a tiny thumbs up with his right hand

"See, even Ru is telling you too."

Cassa stares at Ru with a soft smile as she slowly pulls the spoon out of his mouth.

"Alright, I'll get stronger just for you, Ru."

"Now! That's the spirit!"

Cassa quickly walks towards the door.

"W-Wait aren't you gonna change?"

"Nah, I feel comfortable fighting in this."

"I-I mean you do you, I just don't think I have anything else like it."

"Really, Bell I'm okay. Now I've gotta go, alright! Take care of Ru for me!"

Cassa finally walks out with gray sweat pants and a gray sports top that cut off revealing a thin part of her stomach. Lastly, she had white boots.
