Chapter 34: Levi Says Goodbye

Felicity was getting ready for bed that night. That sinking feeling in her stomach not only persisted but grew by the hour. Levi had been acting strange since the scare and it wasn’t sitting well with her. She remembered having a feeling similar to this the day she lost Marco. She thought she’d forgotten what it felt like, but it was all coming back to her in one vicious cycle.

She tugged Levi’s t-shirt over her head and kicked her pants off. It still smelled like him. That scent that felt so familiar, the one that made her want to run and hug him that night they had dinner with his parents. It made her feel worse to smell it now. She hadn’t heard from him in hours, and he had ignored all her texts and calls. What was going on? She grabbed some ice cream from the freezer and turned on the smart tv mounted on the wall above the fireplace.
