FOUR MONTHS LATER
Levi could feel a huge droplet of sweat trickle down his back as he waited for her answer. Of course, Felicity said yes. Due to the pregnancy being late term, Felicity and Levi had decided it was best to wait until after the baby was born to plan the wedding. For now, it was the time to focus on the baby coming.
Roger had retired and signed the business over to Levi, officially inheriting the billionaire status. Levi led Felicity out to the car he intended for her to have, but it was now their family car. He was picking her up from a baby shower that Helen, Penny, and his sister Lacey planned. He placed a blindfold around her eyes, “No peeking.”
“I can close my eyes.” Felicity giggled.
“If I could trust you not to peek, it wouldn’t be necessary.” Levi smiled as he got into the driver’s seat.
“It’s not my fault that you planned something that you want to keep a secret from me.” Felicity scoffed playfully.
