Sacrifice for family

Bella was in a car travelling to her home, it was already midnight, she was numb and wasn't feeling anything. Her heart wasn't at peace

She got startled when her phone rang and the caller id belongs to her mom.

She wiped the tears that stained her face and picked up the call and she heard the crying sound of her mother

"Mom what happened," Bella said in panic mode

"Bella, come to the hospital soon. Your father had an attack" her mother said in an inconsolable tone and Bella's heart skipped a beat

"Mom, calm down. I am on my way" she said controlling her sobs and cutting the call.

That day proved to be very unlucky for Bella because she lost her love and now her father got hospitalised.

Soon she reached outside the hospital and saw a long queue of reporters, they got the news of her father's heart attack

As soon as Bella stepped out of the car, the queue of reporters put their mikes in front of her face

"Miss. Bella is this true that your father is bankrupt and your house is on the mortgage," one of the reporters asked shoving his camera in front of her

Bella had no words to say but she wanted to reach her father as soon as possible.

"Miss. Smith, do you know why Mr Arthur withdraw from your father's business," one of the male reporters asked

"Please excuse me, my father is in hospital and I need to see him," Bella said controlling her tears but she understood that nobody cares about anyone's emotion

Bella was mobbed by reporters who were not giving her any escape but soon Jason came with her rescue team of bodyguards and hold Bella's hand in his and took her inside

Bella only wanted to see her dad as soon as possible. She saw her mother sitting outside the operation theatre

"Mom?" Bella said and hugged her mother

"We are doomed Bella and your father's condition is critical," her mother said and cried on her shoulder

"Mom everything will be alright" Bella consoled her mother giving her a glass of water

They all are waiting for the doctors to come out and gave the news of Carter well being and their wait was short-lived when a doctor of middle age come out of the theatre

"He has a blockage in his heart and we need to treat him as soon as possible so Mr. smith deposit 10000usd on the counter and we are starting the surgery," the doctor said and again entered inside the room

"Jason, please do it fast, dad is in danger," Bella said to Jason who didn't move from his position

"We are bankrupt Bella and I can't afford this much money. Our investors have backed out and we are nothing left with us" Jason said to her and his face fell down that he couldn't do anything to save his dad

Bella's mother started to cry more and Bella sat on the chair and her life crumbled in front of her but she couldn't do anything

She wished that she had a successful career so that she could save her father. She thought about what James said and she truly believed for the first time in her life that she was a failure.

"Bella please save your father, go to Arthur and asked for his help. Everything is his doing, please help us. It's only a matter of 7 days and nothing will change we still love you" her mother said in desperation and Bella didn't say anything but only looked at the desperate wife whose husband was in the operation room

"Bella please save us from the shame, the media will eat us alive and dad worked hard for his business. Please save him and his business" Jason said bending on her knees and putting a hand on her sister's knee.

Both mother and father looked at her with expectation.

Bella knew that they were demanding the most precious thing from her that was her dignity and self-respect but she couldn't ignore the fact that her dad was on verge of death

Bella sighed defeatedly and was ready to do anything for her family, especially her dad who was fighting between life and danger.

"Help me in escaping the reporters outside," Bella said and both Jason and her mother smiled in happiness

Jason nod his head and take her outside the hospital through the emergency exit and make her seat in the car

"Bella, remember one thing that we all love you and our love is not going to change ever" Jason assured his sister and Bella chuckled at her fate, she was too numb to reply to her brother

"Please take me to Mr Arthur William's mansion," she said to her driver and close her eyes and started her journey towards hell.

Soon she reached outside the Mr Arthur William's mansion. She stepped out of the car and everywhere was dark.

This night surely brought the darkness in her life, she closed her eyes because she had to do what she would never do in her right frame of mind.

A lot of guards surrounded the mansion, she took her first step and was going to enter inside but one of the guards stopped her.

"Mam, you can't go outside without permission," a bulky man said in a strict tone and Bella was already short of time.

"Please tell Mr Arthur that Bella smith is here," she said in a polite tone but with her every word she broke.

One of the guards called inside and speak something which is not audible to Bella.

Bella wiped the lone tear that escaped her eye. Bella kept on reminding herself that it was only a matter of 7 days and nothing would change in her life.
