Every human has a price

"Prepare yourself for me" Arthur commanded like Bella was her servant

"And I guess you learnt your lesson to mess with Arthur William," he said in a proud tone and Bella nodded her head in agreement

"I need word woman," he said to her in a hard tone because he didn't like unresponsive people

"Yes you are right, power and money always win, it was my mistake to mess with you and this lesson that you taught me will remain with me for a lifetime," Bella said without any expression on her face and she truly would never forgive the black night of her life.

"Leave" Arthur commanded and she turned around to leave the mansion.

She carried the burden in her heart that she lost her dignity today but she promised herself that every tear of her would-be avenged and every insult would be taken care off

Arthur was happy that he forced the lioness like Bella to bend on her knees. Everything happened as he planned, after all, he is a businessman and his planning never failed.

He called his secretary and told her to handle everything related to Carter and his family.

He went to his room with a satisfied grin on his face. He broke the girl who raise her hand on him but his power was enough for people to bow down in front of him.

Since the first time he saw Bella, he felt strange in his heart and the desire to get her strongly built in his mind.

He would have Bella for seven days and destroy her pride as he wanted.

He slept with the thought tomorrow was going to be amazing for him but would bring another layer of disaster to Bella's life.

Bella reached her home and she cried finding the house empty.

She would never forget the humiliation she received today, she was disgusted by her act but she consoled herself saying herself saying that she was doing everything for the family

She was in her own pain when her phone started to ring, Jason was calling her

She wiped her tears and picked up the call

"How is dad," she asked and she heard Jason sighed

"Dad is out of danger but he is paralysed" Jason informed her and the floor beneath Bella slipped

She had put herself at stake but she didn't get the desired result

"But don't worry, doctors are saying that soon dad will be alright and one more thing that I received a call from Arthur's secretary and she informed me that Arthur will again put funds in our business," Jason said in excitement but Bella was lost in her own grief.

"That's great," she said over the call without any excitement or expression on her face.

"And all thanks to you and we are proud of you that you are doing everything for family and where are you?" Jason asked her

"My master commanded me to stay at home and prepare myself for him," Bella said with a hint of pain in her voice

Jason was so lost in his excitement that he couldn't hear the pain in the voice of her sister

he had no words to say to Bella

"I will see you at home, sleep tight," Jason said and cut the call all because he had no idea what to say to console her little sister because she was the one who would pay the price for everything.

Bella cut the call without saying anything and got up without any life left in her and enter her room.

She felt like she lost the important battle of her life, she looked at herself in the mirror and she looked defeated.

Arthur was true to his words that every human has a price and Bella realised that the powerful people always have the power to destroy

She laid on the bed without changing her dress and slept.

Tonight was exhausting to her, she lost the love of her life, her dad got paralysed and she sold herself to Arthur William.

She brought courage to her life by saying that seven days would pass soon but little did she know that these seven days would turn out to be the turning point in her life.

NEXT MORNING

Bella opened her eyes lazily and her eyes were paining as hell as she cried a lot yesterday.

As she opened her eyes she saw her brother Jason and her mother standing in front of her with an admiration look in their eyes.

"Good morning my princess," her mom said and Bella immediately got up from the bed and hugged her

She wanted to cry but what was the use of it because no one had the solution to her problems.

"Good morning mom," she said snd broke the hug and there was awkward atmosphere in the room

"Bella, we just wanted to tell you how much we love you," Jason said with a light smile on her face and Bella gulped the lump that appeared in her throat

"Give me a few seconds, I will get ready and come downstairs for breakfast," Bella said to ease the tense atmosphere

"Bella, we know what is going on inside you but just we tried to save you but everything falls apart," Jason said sitting on the bed and her mother was holding her hands

She knew that they both wanted to console her and made her ready for the storm

"Remember sweetie that body can be impure but the soul will always remain sure," her mother said and Bella understood her indication, she chuckled a little

"We book your flight for Australia and after seven days you will be in Australia and you won't even remember the upcoming seven days in your life," Jason said and he felt shame at his choice of words

They both were trying to ease Bella's pain but only Bella knows that the pain on the dignity of women could never be healed
