Chapter 19

As we walked down the fields to get to our house, the kids ran, and played. It was like this was their first time being outside. They stopped to look at everything. They were interested by the way the plants grow, by the wind that made the trees dance, and by the sun that felt hot on their skin. I smiled at the sight of them running around. I had made the right choice. As we got to the walkway that led to our front doors, the children stopped mid play.

“Are we to live here?” Tempest asked in awe.
