Makeover

Another day came, and they were still busy preparing for the grand wedding. Eleanor was busy fixing the decorations when she saw Cassandra. She came over to her to greet her, but Cassandra seemed to be preoccupied with something. "Cassandra, hey Cassandra? Are you okay?"

Cassandra returned to her senses and looked at Eleanor with a tired look. "Oh, yes, I'm okay. Why? What is the matter?" she said as she continued to roll the carpet.

"Nothing. I was just thinking." Eleanor said with a confused look while helping Cassandra with the carpets in the hall.

Ms. Nora noticed the two talking and went in their direction. "After you're done with that, can you please look for Chef Arvee and ask if the menu for the wedding is finalized?" she said and looked at the two. "By the way, have any of you heard about the bride of Mr. Avery?"

"I was about to ask the same question. I haven't heard of the bride's identity yet," Eleanor said and stood up.

Cassandra stayed quiet and listened to the two talking, and she was shocked that the two were curious about the bride's identity. She, too, was interested but too shy to ask.

"But I heard from my other colleague that the fiancee of Mr. Avery was a very busy and private person and no one in our division saw her yet." Ms. Nora said and waved goodbye to the other two.

The two looked at each other and finished arranging the carpet. The decorations for the wedding were almost finished, and Cassandra now realized Mr. Avery's situation and wondered if the bride really couldn't make it on the wedding day.

Cassandra and Eleanor looked for Chef Arvee for the task given to them by Ms. Nora, and while walking, Cassandra said, "If I will be the one who will get married, I don't personally want something this grand."

Eleanor looked at her, confused. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, look at the decorations for the events... I'm not sure... Colorful and overly ornamented. If I'm the one getting married, I want it to be private and simple, with minimalistic design," Cassandra added, returning her gaze to the decorations.

While Cassandra and Eleanor were talking, little did they know that Mr. Avery was in the hotel and heard their conversation.

"Chef Arvee, Ms. Nora wants to ask about the menu. Is everything ready?" Cassandra asked.

"Yes, everything is going perfectly fine. The menu was all set. Also, I heard that Mr. Avery is here at the building for the taste testing." The executive chef said.

Cassandra's eye widened, and a small gasp escaped her lips, she secretly looked around, but she did not see the billionaire nearby.

Eleanor did not notice the shocked expression on Cassandra's face and excitedly looked around. "Really? I wanted to see him so badly." She said.

"I think he is in the reception area at the moment. I will meet with him later for the presentation of the menu." The executive chef said.

"Yes, Chef Arvee, we will now go back to work. We will inform Ms. Nora that everything is set." Cassandra said, and they went back to the hall.

On a lunch break, Cassandra was about to go to the cafeteria when some men in black went after her. "What? Wait, what's going on?" Cassandra said while panicking.

The men in black did not say anything and dragged her outside the hotel. They entered a Mercedes Benz Van, and when she was inside, she was shocked by what she saw.

The billionaire was sitting beside her, looking at his phone, ignoring her for a second. When he finished typing on his mobile phone, he faced her and said. "You are finally here. I hope you did not forget about our agreement."

Cassandra's eyes squinted for a second and looked at him with a bit of contempt. "How can I forget? Yes, I remember, but you don't need to drag me like this whenever you want to say something. I am on a lunch break. I need to go back to work." She was about to go when the van started moving.

"Hey, I said I need to go. Where are you taking me?" she asked, annoyed.

Greyson calmly said, "You will have a makeover and change of clothes. You will accompany me for the taste testing later." His voice was very casual as if it was nothing to him.

"What do you mean to accompany you? Everyone will know If I will go with you," she said.

"What do you expect? Everyone will eventually know. We will get married there," Greyson said with an unbothered look.

Cassandra was speechless. She just looked out the window of the car and noticed that they were headed to the shopping district, where rich people always shop. She looked at Greyson again and asked, "Where are we headed?"

"We will look for a new set of clothes for you, and I can't introduce you to them as my fiancee looks like that." Greyson looked at Cassandra's clothes, then diverted his eyes to her face. Cassandra has a beautiful face, he thought. He had always been appreciating her beauty ever since and that he couldn't deny.

"But, what will I say to them? They knew me. I am working there." Cassandra said with a concerned tone.

"Just be quiet and don't tell them anything," Greyson coldly said.

Cassandra was speechless. She still didn't know what to do. She was deep in her thoughts when the van stopped at a luxurious brand.

This brand is now one of the most well-known brands globally, with a brand recognition that extends beyond the realm of fashion. The brand's target audience may be found in various industries, including music, automobiles, cosmetics, and even furniture consumers.

Design, production, and marketing are just a few of the variables that go into building a brand's reputation. Their material selection, unique design elements, and high-quality production translate into high-quality products and stunning accessories with a high level of customer desire.

"What? Why are we here? Look, Greyson, I don't have time to play around. Can't you see that I don't have a single penny in my pocket?" Cassandra stated this with a remarkably irritated tone.

Meanwhile, he just shrugged his shoulders and a grin flashed on his face. "Who said I'd let you pay? It's on me." He said, winking at Cassandra, then he grabbed her hand to enter the store.

To charge high prices and provide more value to clients, the brand must first build additional value for them. They exclusively employ the highest-quality raw materials and manufacturing processes available as a world-renowned Italian designer.

"I'm not sure about this, Greyson. This is really a bad idea." She uttered hesitantly as she was looking around.

"Shh, just follow me. Don't mind other people, just focus on things at hand." Greyson told her casually, then they completely entered the store.

Cassandra looked at the interior in awe, it was definitely a jaw-dropping moment for her. "Are we really going to shop here? I have never been to a luxurious place like this." She said, but her eyes were sparkling, and she had a broad smile on her lips. She can't contain the excitement in her heart.

Greyson also noticed the sparkle in Cassandra's eyes but did not say a word. He just went outside the van and instructed his bodyguards to also accompany Cassandra to the shop.

"Do you like it in here?" Greyson asked with a faint curve on his lips.

"This place is truly a place for beauty," she muttered while looking at its Jolie laide charm, its marble slabs, mustard and purple velvet couches, and clashing color rails.

While appreciating the interiors, Cassandra noticed that Greyson was not anywhere near her anymore. She looked for Greyson and saw him talking to a designer. She went next to him and did not utter a word.

Greyson noticed Cassandra went inside the shop and was still mesmerized by the place. A smile escaped his lips while looking at her. Then a woman in a black dress approached him and handed him her hand.

"Hi, Mr. Avery. I am the one you hired for today. By the way, I am Anna Foster, a fashion designer," A lady wearing a scarf and an overly fashioned dress extended her hands to him.

He shook hands with her immediately and nodded. "Okay," Greyson said, "This is Cassandra. You will accompany her to choose her dress, shoes, and bag. Also, you need to go to a salon for her hair and makeup. I will be back after a couple of hours. I have a meeting that I need to attend." And just like that, he went outside the shop and left her inside with Anna. One bodyguard was left with them.

Cassandra looked at the gorgeous woman in front of her. They smiled at each other, and she spoke, "Hi, I am Cassandra."

"Hi, I am Anna, a fashion designer, and I will be assisting you today," she said and looked around at the dresses and tops. "To begin with, may I know what event you are attending?"

"We will just go to a food tasting," she said shortly.

The fashion designer nodded and continued to look at the dresses. "What do you want to wear? Are you fond of colorful dresses? Short dress?"

"I just want to wear a simple dress. I don't want it to be so colorful," she shyly said.

The Fashion designer took out a color black dress with Shoulder straps criss-crossing in the back, a front leg slit, and an asymmetrical hem.

Cassandra was shocked by the fashion designer's dress and said, "Uhhm. No, that's too revealing for me."

Anna just nodded and looked at the other dress. "Can you try this first? I swear this will be perfect for you."

Cassandra looked at the other dress and just nodded. The dress has an exposed back zipper closure, lace overlay, and Mesh panel at the bust.

They headed to the changing room to get the dress adjusted. Cassandra was taken aback by her appearance as she peered in the mirror. The dress was a fantastic fit for her.

"That's wonderful!" The designer exclaimed as she slapped her hands. "All right, next up. Your footwear. Wait for me here," she instructed.

When Anna left, Cassandra just looked at herself in the mirror. After a couple of minutes, Anna came back with a color black sandals and a pearl bag.

"This has a satin upper with a buffed leather sole, ankle strap with buckle closure, black crystal embellishments, memory foam cushion insole, round toe, and it has approximately 10cm hills." She switched her glance to the bag and said, "And this one has a straw exterior with poly lining, kiss-lock closure, interior slip pocket, detachable gold-tone shoulder straps." She finished describing the product while smiling from ear to ear, then she gave it to Cassandra.

Cassandra wore the shoes and the bag and looked in the mirror. 'It all matched,' she thought.

"You are so gorgeous, Miss Cassandra." Anna said.

"Thank you," Cassandra shyly said.

"Okay, just wear that, and we will go to the salon across the street," Anna said.

Cassandra nodded and fixed her other clothes, but the bodyguard volunteered to get her uniform since she was from work earlier. She did not protest, handed the bodyguard her clothes, and followed Anna to the salon.

Cassandra entered the salon and saw Anna already talking to the hairdresser.

"Cassandra, This is Jimmy, and he will be in charge of your hair and makeup. The hairstyle that we will do is just a little curl at the ends of your hair, and since you are wearing white and the event is daytime, your makeup will be light and simple, okay? I will be waiting for you here." Anna instructed her, then she sat down on one of the couches in the lobby.

"Okay, Thank you Anna," Cassandra said and followed the hairdresser.

After an hour, the hairdresser was done with Cassandra. They went outside the salon, and Anna contacted Greyson, informing him that the makeover of Cassandra was done. They just waited a couple of minutes, and the Mercedes Benz approached them.

The bodyguard opened the van, and Greyson went outside. He first approached the fashion designer.

"Thank you for your service, and I will call you again if we need assistance." Greyson said with a serious tone of voice, trying to sound as professional as he could.

"Thank you for the opportunity, sir." The fashion designer bowed her head gently, then she said goodbye to Greyson and Cassandra.

Greyson looked at Cassandra for the first time since he arrived. "Ho–" he was shocked at the appearance of Cassandra. He was aware that the lady was pretty, but he did not expect her to be this gorgeous. "Ahem, how's your makeover?" Greyson asked, clearing his voice to act normally.

Cassandra smiled genuinely and said, "It was perfect. I don't know how much all this cost but it was my dream to wear such a pretty dress. So thank you for this." Cassandra was so happy with the outcome of the makeover.

Greyson was just looking at her, not minding what she said. "Let's go?"

Cassandra nodded, and for the first time, Greyson was the one who opened the door for her.
