Chapter 4 not"

"Everyone knows you sweetheart,You are the big boss's new PA which is a big news around here". The guy said with a big smile on his face

"Ohhh, I'm sorry! We didn't introduce ourselves to you!!!" the girl said and smiled

"I am Ashley and this is Dave.We work together in the finance department in floor 22".

"It is nice to meet you both I said" I smiled. with that we ended up talking for a while

I found out that Dave was gay and Ashley was his roommate, I was so shocked because he was too handsome to be gay.

They were really fun and made me laugh so much in such a short time

I miss this because my best friend Dera relocated abroad after finishing college

Suddenly their faces changed colour as they looked behind me. I felt a hand on my shoulder which sent chills to my spine.

Looking up, there stood my boss,"Your break is over,he said".

Immediately he turned around and i left

The rest of the day was uneventful, before I left the canteen I share numbers with Ashley and Dave and we planned to go out together sometimes.

I had another piles of paperwork to finish which I ended up closing by 7pm.

Today was Saturday and luckily I had days off on weekends.

My mom decided to attend a girl's day out with her friends, leaving me with my little sister to take care of.

We went to the mall

She'd need a new pair of trainers and school bag for school.

After shopping,we went to the food court.

Sitting eating fries and fried chicken,my two new friends walked in

I introduced them to my little sister and we all sat down, eating and chatting as if the day will never come to an end.

Mom called us by 4pm to ask you where we were,and we said a quick goodbye to Ashley and Dave and headed home

"Your friends are so cool,my little sister said,where did you meet them because the last thing I remembered is that you don't have friends". she said

"I met them yesterday at work". I answered her.

"Am seriously happy that you now have new friends now because you need to live a life apart from mine and mom's" she said.

" Excuse me,young lady when did you become a motivational speaker", I said to her.

"Am serious big sis ,you do everything to make me and mom happy,but when was the last time you made yourself happy ".she asked me

"I was so shocked to hear her say that,have you been taking motivational classes".

"No,am just smarter than you she said with confidence".

And she's back!

After spending the week, fighting with my little sister over movies we should watch on Netflix,am happy that I will be resuming work the next day .

Ella was right,I need a life.
