Valerie POV.
Ever since I got here Tyler hasn't given me any attention, he's just been on his phone, texting the whole time, while he is a laying on the sofa.
It's like he doesn't know I'm here, but I'm sitting next to him.
I snatch the phone from his hands.
"Ever since I got here you haven't said a thing to me, you haven't paid any attention to anything I've said, you've been on your phone this whole time!"
He looks at me for a few seconds, and he let's out a sigh.
"What do you want from me?"
He asks taking the cellphone back from my hand.
"Excuse me?" I say, fixing my gaze at him in shock. I thought everything was fixed between us.
He stand up and gives me a look.
"You do what you want and I'll do me," He says going up the stairs.
What just happened? I thought everything was alright between us? But the way he just left it's like we are back to square one. I thought after last night things would be better.
"Tyler what do you mean?" I ask following him up the stairs, "I told you I'm sorry," I follow him all the way to his bedroom.
He gets his laptop off the table and walks past me to exit the bedroom. I grab his hand, as he walks out.
"Alright talk to me, Sweetie what's wrong? I thought we got past that yesterday." I say wrapping my hands around his neck, which he immediately gently gets off him.
"Stop It." He says, exiting the room.
If he wasn't immune to my mind control I would just mind control him until we get married. But looks like that's his half vampire ability, being immune to my mind control.
Well it's good he still wants us to get married.
I'm not in the mood to Follow him around this time. I should just go home all by myself, and get bored to death as always. I always call Jordan whenever I'm bored, but I don't want to risk it this time.
I get outside the mansion, I notice his car is still packed outside. That means he is not going to his office he's probably at the Anson's house, guess I'll spend sometime with him, even though he hates me right now.
I go to the house across the street, hoping to find Tyler there, whenever he's not home I always find him there, at his mother's house. Of course he doesn't know Lynn is his real mom.
I know because Jordan told me. He found that out from Billy.
Billy and Jordan were friends at some point until Jordan killed him.
Looks like the whole family is here except for the parents, even Mila joined them today. Funny how she distances herself from the Anson's. Well who am I to talk about it I distanced myself from my family one thousand and a half years ago.
The others are outside on the front porch.
"Hello everyone!" I say passing by them, and I enter the house.
Lynn and the rest of the Anson's think I'm a cunning mortal girl. Well I am cunning, but I'm not mortal.
I walk inside the house, Tyler is sitting on a sofa, next to some girl whose name i forgot.
I found her talking to him earlier when I arrived at Tyler's house.
I take a sit on on the sofa opposite from the one they are sitting on, He let's a out a silent sigh, and he looks at me, with an expression on his face that shows that he is annoyed.
"Can we talk Tyler?" I ask him.
The girl sitting next to him on the sofa just looks at me surprised, guess she doesn't know who I am.
He looks at me for a few seconds, and he stands up, "Sure, where should talk?"
"We can talk here, she should leave."
I say flashing a smile at both of them.
"Alright what do you want to talk about?" He asks.
Oh ,yeah Bianca! that's her name she stands up and leaves carrying her purse.
"Can make it quick? What is it, you want to talk about?" He asks sitting.
Nothing, I just want to spend some time with you.
"I want to talk about us, and our marriage, our future," I say changing seats, sitting next to him.
"Listen you can cancel it, Just tell me. I'm sure your grandma would understand why you had to break up with me." I say.
I know he would never break the promise he made to his dear grandma. He has no idea I mind controlled her in to making him promise to marry me.
His reaction confirms it all, that he is not going to break up with me. But I think he wants me to call it quits, cause that we'll give him some peace of mind, cause he is not going to be the one who breaks the promise.
"Stop pushing me away? I can break up with you, but that's going to be because of you, cause you're pushing me away darling." I say with a mesmerizing voice.
"You made a promise, remember grandma would be so disappointed to see you break her promise." I say blackmailing him.
Well he can't be anymore disappointed in me than he already is.
He just looks at me, I can feel his disappointment upon realizing I'm blackmailing him. "Okay, well call it off, I don't care about any promise."
"Then it's going to be all your fault, cause you told me to call it off, you'll be the one who calls off the marriage!" I say shouting.
He turns his head and faces me, "Fine to me, grandma would want me to not marry you!"
"I'm changing, I swear after we get married I'll be a good wife, I promise." I say wrapping my arms on his neck.
Running my fingers on his lips, "But if you don't want to go on with this, just say the word, and we'll call it quits."
My phone rings. Lana is calling. I answer it.
"Hi cousin where are you? We've been at your house since morning," Lana says over the phone.
"I'm won't be home any time soon Lana, I have somethings to sort out with someone." I say resting my head on Tyler's shoulders.
"Cool, we'll just wait for you then." Lana says.
"We? Who else is there with you?"
"Oh yeah I'm with Anna." She replies.
I let out a sigh and hang up the phone.
"It was my cousin, Lana she is at my house, with my sister."
"Wait, you have a sister?" He asks raising his eyebrows.
I've never told him about my family, well that's because he has never asked me about my family, he didn't care to ask me about that.
"Yes, but you've never asked me about that so I didn't bother telling you," I reply.
"Okay, your parents?" He asks.
My parents and I do not get along, infact we haven't spoken in hundreds of years now.
"You can meet my sister, when you want, as for my parents... they're overseas....an I don't think you'll ever meet them, we don't talk. Don't even ask about it, it's complicated." I nervously say.
