You Don't Look Too Happy

Eloise's POV:

I stood in front of the apartment I rented, took a deep breath, and pulled the door open.

"Oh, my dear! You're finally back. I felt that the house has become empty since you were gone." Chloe welcomed me warmly and held my hand.

"How have you been recently? I thought your boyfriend was here too." I looked worriedly at the sofa in my house, which was why I had snuck into the apartment. I didn't want to delay the beginning of their private lives because of my existence.

However, as I was still living here, I had no choice but to come back at this time.

"Of course, it's not bad, but Alvin's been busy recently, so he hasn't been coming by. I'm starting to miss him now that you've mentioned it." Although she looked a little haggard, her eyes still lit up when she mentioned her boyfriend.

I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. After all, I had seen this before.
