Atticus' POV:
I knew it might be too sudden to take the photo, but I couldn't think of a better way. It was apparent that I always shocked the person in front of me.
"This isn't what an Alpha should do." My wolf was roaring in my mind, but I didn't care.
"You guys can call me Chasel," the stall owner in front of us greeted us as he fiddled with the bread.
His movements weren't very skilled. I thought he might be a newbie in this industry, but this had nothing to do with me.
"But… I think I've seen this person before. Was she still in the hospital a few days ago? But why are you looking for her?"
I didn't know how to answer his question because I didn't have the right to know about Eloise's life. Soren coughed and looked at Chasel. He seemed to have suddenly understood something and began to think about it seriously.
"Alright then, I'll still tell you." He put down the bread clip in his hand and raised his head to look at us.
