Intruders in The Kingdom

The atmosphere in the palace of the Dragonhart Kingdom was as calm and peaceful as ever. Its beautiful gardens are very well taken care of, as well as the lush trees that are planted regularly around the corridors of the palace. All are well organized.

However, people were unaware of the existence of an intruder in the magnificent palace. The figure was a man wearing a strange black mask on his face, hiding among the trees and bushes. His sharp eyes like the tip of a sword watched the two important people who were walking down the corridors of the palace. To be more precise, the mysterious figure is observing King Vincent Dragonhart carefully.

The young king walked over accompanied by his loyal aide. The mysterious man was thinking of something as he looked from the corner of his eye, that King Vincent stopped his footsteps for a moment and glanced right at the place where he was hiding. The figure grinned.

[As expected of a king, he is very vigilant. However, he is somewhat different from some rumors I have heard. Did someone deliberately manipulate those rumors?]

It is very obvious that King Vincent is already aware of his existence, so staying in hiding longer is a waste of time. After all, that person deliberately came here so far not just to be an underworked stalker who watched over a king of a country without a specific purpose.

[I was going to wait until he was caught off guard, but what can I do?]

Without thinking twice, the masked figure ran over and was about to attack Vincent from behind.

On the other hand, Vincent felt the danger of lust killing someone and he immediately turned around, immediately after saying a few unimportant words to Clark.

TRANG!

Vincent turned around, pulling out his sword, and sure enough, his weapon immediately collided with an enemy's dagger. The sound of iron clashing echoed throughout the corridor, and they could see small sparks indicating how much energy the two of them used in the confrontation.

[Who is this person? The ability is okay too!]

Vincent narrowed his eyes and immediately behaved vigilantly. The attacker is a mysterious figure who wears a strange mask in pitch black and covers himself with a traveler's cloak.

Unmistakably, he was a mysterious person who had been tailing and watching Vincent silently. After exchanging slight attacks to measure each other's abilities, the two retreated to keep their distance and observe each other.

"Your Majesty!" The panicked Clark immediately drew the sword and drew it towards the brazen intruder. He stared fiercely at the opponent who suddenly appeared in front of their eyes, like a sharp and cold-blooded beast. He should have already noticed that there was someone watching.

[Thankfully, His Majesty has a quick response. Otherwise....]

Clark didn't dare to imagine what would happen if only Vincent was not a swordmaster. It became a very serious matter until it injured the king while he was there to protect him.

"My king, let me deal with it from here!" exclaimed Clark. His eyes remained wary of observing the opponent, who was still standing still in place.

"No."

However, beyond Clark's expectations, Vincent spread his hands to block his way, and boldly stared at the attacker.

"Let me deal with it myself. After all, it seems that he can be a good training puppet to test how good my ability is now." Vincent said very calmly. He took two steps forward and smiled coldly at the opponent.

"But, Your Majesty, you don't have to-"

Before Clark could refute, Vincent had already put on his horses and ran forward. At the same time, the masked figure also advanced, until they were involved in another gunfight.

The masked figure accepted Vincent's attack directly. However, even as their two weapons collided, only he trembled because of the power Vincent used in his attacks. The mysterious man almost fell while dodging the second attack of the young king. A crisp iron sound accompanied the fight.

Vincent swung his sword horizontally, intending to target his opponent's shoulder. The mysterious figure condescended the horses, about to take advantage of the momentum to injure Vincent with another knife that he took out. However, Vincent quickly dodged and tilted his body. He deflected the direction of his sword and managed to give a deep incision in return.

"Tch! Damn it, he is strong!" Behind the mask the intruder was wearing, a smile broke out as if he was really enjoying the one-on-one fight. Although the wound began to bleed fresh blood.

Without missing a momentary opportunity, when his opponent was shocked, Vincent again attacked with a series of sword swings. However, the intruder also put up a stingy fight. Although he has not been able to inflict a single wound on the king's body.

Vincent jumped back to avoid an attack from the sword in his opponent's left hand. His body seemed to move on its own. It feels so light and supple. He already knew the ability of the original owner of this body, but was still amazed that this was his first fight. It can be, he can only practice sparring with Clark.

[As expected. However, the intruder was also strong.]

Vincent was silent for a moment, observed the person, and looked for a loophole that allowed him to defeat the masked intruder in one attack.

However, he hadn't had time to think, the opponent had already advanced again. This time it seemed clear his killing intent was directed at Vincent. And once again, they attacked each other without being able to hurt their respective opponents.

For quite a while, the two people were fighting arms. While Clark couldn't do anything but watch the fight. However, his right hand was already holding the hilt of his sword, ready to pull the weapon out at any time. Even so, he believed, even firmly believed in the ability of his king.

[Your Majesty can definitely beat that person easily!]

And just as Clark had just thought, the stranger figure jumped back again, seeming to keep a safe distance from Vincent. And just as the young king was preparing to return to attack, the masked figure jumped back further and fled.

[Creepy... I'm sure those fucker's look down on this guy too much.] he thought.

"We'll meet again," the masked figure murmured before he disappeared behind the trees. While he couldn't help but curl his lips after witnessing firsthand how powerful King Vincent Dragonhart was, who some time ago was just a naïve young man and easy to manipulate.

"My king!"

Calrk, who witnessed the incident, immediately walked up to Vincent. The young king was still standing still in place, staring fiercely at the direction where the mysterious figure in the black mask had just disappeared. The sudden wind blowing made her black hair a little messy.

"Your majesty...." Clark called again.

Vincent turned his head, "Clark, find out everything about the brash intruder," he said. His impersonal voice made Clark seem to have just been hit by a snowy wind.

"According to your order, Your Majesty my King!"
