Battle With Stone Gobline

Crackling... one of Rob's feet stepped on something that was underneath. It's pretty hard as a rock but a little chewy like meat. Because the position of the torch behind made Rob less focused. He paused for a moment and certainly grabbed Edon's attention.

"What's wrong, Rob?"

"I stepped on something. Let you check!" said Rob.

They lifted both of his legs from something that was still unclear. Edon brought his torch down. How surprised they were when they clearly stepped on the stone goblin who had previously been injured by the Edon sword. The goblin lay unceremoniously lying with the blood still around him. Rob and Edon thought they were just treading drip water from the cave. Not far from where the goblin was located, the bucket he was carrying ran away was also lying empty without any contents.

"It seems that we are getting closer. It seems much better if I'm the one in front to light up the road," Edon suggested.

"No need! You just keep your guard behind. With a long sword that belongs to you, it will certainly make it a little difficult for you to move in a narrow place like this."

[That is indeed true. I've been thinking that way since I walked into this cave. He could think that way too,]

"Alright, if that's the case. Let's move on!"

They don't know how deep the cave they both traced. It felt like there was no other end to the side of the cave. The atmosphere is also like night only even though outside the sun still reveals its rays.

A tense feeling suddenly came to a head. The two felt that way and doubled their vigilance. Both of Rob's hands were already preparing to pull out his two swords. Meanwhile, Edon had already tightened his grip on the long sword in his right hand. Edon watched the vicinity of the cave first to ascertain whether his long sword would be free to use or not.

From the front direction, it suddenly shot two spears at high speed. The sound of the two small but sharp spears split the wind. Edon's focus split and squealed, "Watch out, Rob!"

Rob deftly drew out his two swords and parried the two spears that shot towards them. In such a low-light view, it was great that Rob could tell which direction the two spears were coming from. An inevitable collision between the tip of the spear made of iron and Rob's sword. The movements of the two spears also instantly changed direction and hit the wall of the cave. It was so sharp that the spear was so sharp that it stuck in the wall of the cave.

"It seems that we have already been discovered! Let's go ahead!" ordered Edon.

"Alright! Let's finish those stone goblins!" shouted Rob excitedly.

Without wasting any more time, Rob and Edon ran in the direction the two spears came from. Strangely, in front of them, it was very dark. There was not a single piece of light. They suspected that the culprit who had thrown the spear was a stone goblin. But it seems that the two goblins have already run in for reinforcements.

Slowly, the green light one by one appeared in the face of Rob and Edon. Accompanied by a strange voice scrambling to approach them. The torch in Edon's hand now cast his firelight on the stone creatures that were getting closer to them. Sure enough the dozens of green-eyed stone goblins that turned out to be shining while in the dark were attacking the two of them as well.

[Good at it! Now is the time!]

When the dozens of stone goblins approached, Edon did not waste the opportunity. He directly advanced parallel to Rob and immediately sprinkled salt on those stone goblins. The stone goblins were indeed quite smart because they learned something from humans in the attack. Who would have thought that they also used weapons such as spears and stone swords?

"You guard my back, Edon! I'm the one taking care of it ahead!" insisted Rob, starting to get serious.

"Alright! Just focus on their burning eyes so as not to get caught in the dark!" said Edon.

For a moment, some of the goblins were wiped out as much as possible by Rob's double swords. Of the 20 rock goblins who attacked Rob, only 6 could finish off. 6 of them managed to run backwards, targeting Edon. The 8 in front of Rob's eyes were still lustful, attacking Rob as seen from their increasingly dripping saliva.

Edon himself, who saw the six stone goblins pointing at him, directly shook the long sword horizontally. Considering that the upper wall of the cave was close enough, Edon cannot move his sword freely. Even so, three of the six goblins armed with stone swords died and were hit by Edon swords.

Rob was getting excited about it. He tightened the grips on both swords and moved swiftly to and fro, leaving the stone goblins confused. They couldn't keep up with Rob's shrewd movements. Only with green light in the eyes of the eight stone goblins, Rob managed to win the four goblins.

While continuing to dodge the attack from the stone goblin, Rob and Edon can still finish off all the remaining goblins. They breathed a sigh of relief. But the mission of the two of them has not been completely completed. There, the sound of goblins began to arrive towards them in greater numbers than before. 30 stone goblins prepared to attack with stone swords and spears in hand.

[Serious! They're multiplying now. In cave conditions like this, I guess there are only a few goblins. Is there another goblin in there, huh? It seems that their nests are quite spacious. If you continue to fight in a tight place like this, it will definitely hurt me and Rob.]

Without thinking about it, Edon finally found a solution. He planned to finish off some of the newly arrived goblins while running quickly towards the deeper part of the cave. Time and time again, Edon thought about the risks and what awaited them in the cave. A total of 50 stone goblins alone have moved from their place to attack Edon and Rob. But Edon still insisted on believing his instincts. Although there will be more goblin rocks in the future, he is quite confident if their nest is wide. Edon will be more free to attack and Rob can go all out to slaughter them.

One thing Edon was still worried about until he finally made the right decision even though it was hard. I cannot guess the total number of stone goblins in the cave! But then again, Edon remained confident in his plan. Previously, he had also prepared himself and brought an item that would later help them with a state of urgency.

The 30 stone goblins also attacked again. Rob burned even more and Edon immediately revealed his plan.

"This time, we're going to target their nests directly, Rob. Finish off all the goblins blocking the way and we will run as soon as possible to go deeper into this cave!"
