Don't Lie To Me

As soon as Vincent passed, Clark immediately headed to Princess Lily's room. There was already a Faithful Newt accompanying the princess. Happily Princess Lily' Fulfilled the invitation of her beloved brother. Because last night Vincent ignored Lil, he put his affairs first.

The two brothers also met in one place, the back garden of the palace. Two of their guards were ordered to stay away from it because the young king wanted to chat alone with his sister. Clark and Newt complied. The two of them chatted on their own about Prince Keith who might have been an intruder yesterday afternoon. 

"Please sit down,"  

"Thank you, brother," Princess Lily dropped her body on a chair that had been prepared. "I'm really happy to be having tea this morning with my brother in this park with the cool air too," Lily said with her sweet smile.

"How are you, Lily?"

"I'm fine. The young king himself, how are you? It seemed too busy to forget his own sister last night. Though I waited quite a while with Newt," Lily quipped.

Vincent just blushed with shame and felt bad. His busy schedule and his inability to calm mind made him forget about it. But still understands Vincent. She also encouraged her brother to never give up in dealing with all royal problems and also prosper the Dragonhart kingdom. The beautiful garden atmosphere accompanied by the motivation of the soft and sweet beautiful sister made Vincent's heart feel calm and confident that he was able to face everything.

While breathing in the fresh air of the garden, they also gradually sipped the warm tea that had been provided.

I don't know what's wrong with princess Lily, when her right hand lifted the unwieldy teacup, suddenly the teacup fell and broke into pieces. Vincent was very surprised by that and was very anxious about Lily's state. He directly touched Lily's hand and checked her state.

"Are you okay? Anyone hurt?! Or..."

"I'm fine, Brother. Thank you for worrying about me," Lily said as she let go of Vincent's hand.

Lily immediately lowered her head right where the cup was to pick up the scattered pieces. Just now Vincent was about to stop what Lily was going to do. But it didn't happen because of seeing something that made him very upset and curious.

"What scar is that, Lily?" asked Vincent seriously.

Lily's long sleeves were exposed as she picked up the cup pieces. It showed Vincent the scar on her left arm.

Princess Lily stopped her movements and hurriedly covered up the scar that belonged to her. She then quickly cleaned up the cup pieces and put them away. The princess sat back quietly in her chair despite feeling awkward. So far, she has never shown the scar to anyone including Vincent.

"Lily, what scar is that on your left hand? Were you hit by someone?" said Vincent, still in a pressing tone.

Princess Lily is silent. She really didn't want her brother to know about this. The only thing she can do is to lie. Even though she is not sure Vincent believes Lily's lies later, Lily must still hide the truth. Lily was worried that it would cause problems in the even more rugged Dragonhart kingdom.

"Oh this, I accidentally fell and hit the floor, Kakanda. At that time my dress was too wide so it stepped on my feet and tripped me. My left hand supporting the weight of the body was finally injured. Needless to think about it, Kakanda. It's not so painful. Let's continue drinking this tea. My own brother today is where are you going?" explained Lily accompanied by a fake smile.

Vincent didn't change his face and instead became more suspicious of him. Although he saw a scar on one of his sister's limbs for an instant, he immediately remembered it. 

"Don't divert the subject! Answer honestly my question. Obviously it wasn't the scar that resulted from the fall. Now I change the question. Is there someone who deliberately injured you? Hit you?"

Princess Lily couldn't help but look down listlessly. She regretted it a little because she accidentally revealed the scar that was on Vincent. Lily felt very careless. Finally, now she can't dodge it anymore because she knows very well the temperament of the king of Vincent. She will continue to investigate the slightest thing if she thinks it is important.

Lily also raised her head after a few seconds had passed. Vincent still stared at Lily's daughter fiercely as if not blinking once. A smile expanded on Lily's lips. A broken sentence was thrown out.

"Never mind, Brother. I'm fine. It was purely my fault when I fell to the floor. After all, now it doesn't feel sick anymore."

 Vincent, who had been struggling to restrain his emotions, finally exploded as well. He pounded the table that was the gap separator with Lily until it almost split. Princess Lily was very surprised by it. Vincent's position now stood with a look in his eyes blazing.

"I don't like being lied to by anyone including yourself, Lily. Just because you are my sister doesn't mean I can't get angry with something like this.

I don't think the scar on your left arm is an ordinary trivial matter. Let me know who is the person who has injured you? Why don't you want to express it? Are you threatened by him?" snapped Vincent to find a clear answer.

Once again princess Lily was rendered helpless. Vincent sat down again to calm down. He also didn't forget to apologize if it made Lily feel scared. Not far from the place where the two of them were, Clark's loyal bodyguards together with Newt for the second time also heard the noise from Vincent and Lily's place.

"What is that?! Like the sound of a table bang?! Before it must have been a falling thing. What exactly are king Vincent and princess Lily talking about?" asked Clark so curiously.

Princess Lily was made to calm down for a moment. It seems that he is indeed not good at lying. Especially in the face of Vincent. Lily couldn't help but finally reveal everything to Vincent. Vincent, who had been curious since just now, was stunned and angry after hearing Lily's answer.
