She Guility

Shortly before the arrival of Grand Duke Henry in Vincent's room, at first the young king was accompanied only by Clark. Shortly thereafter after receiving the letter from Rob and Edon for the second time, Newt rushed into Vincent's room and delivered it directly according to Rob and Edon's request listed in the other letter written for Newt.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your leisure time, Your Majesty. This morning Rob and Edon sent an important letter whose contents must be delivered directly to the king's office. I myself dare not open the envelope containing a piece of paper in it because it is special to you," Newt said as he gave the letter.

The look in Newt's eyes fell on Clark. The two of them were actually curious about what happened to the two new knights in their first task. Seeing king Vincent smile alone and feel ecstatic, Clark and Newt became more curious. Even so, the two of them did not dare to ask what was in the content of the letter.

"I believe in you two, Clark, Newt. Rob and Edon find a manastone and a green gem in the cave of the goblin stones. We put aside first in looking for the identity of the intruder at that time. Now I order you guys to find information about which stone and green gem in question."

"Fine, Your Majesty!" compacted Clark and Newt.

Just as Newt was honoring to excuse himself out of the room, grand duke Henry came over with a feeling of anger. This prevented Newt from leaving because king Vincent, who saw Henry's arrival first, ordered Newt to accompany him with Clark on the balcony.

"Vincent! What did you do to my subordinates?! How dare you make a unilateral decision without going through the trial! Why did you punish Evernan with a scathing sentence when she wasn't proven guilty! What's more, even if she is indeed guilty she shouldn't be punished just for injuring a little part of Princess Lily's body."

"It's done, Uncle? Please sit down first. It looks like you're very tired. I've got you a cup of tea ready," Vincent offered.

"Don't divert the subject! Just answer my question!" snapped Henry.

Instantly Clark and Newt almost drew their swords and pointed them at Henry's neck. But Vincent looking back prevented that as he was about to do with Evernan.

"Well, if Uncle really prefers to stand than sit down. After all, sitting too long is also tiring," Vincent got up from his seat but didn't stare at Henry.

"And by standing on the balcony of this room we can see the view of the royal palace presented in front of our eyes in person. Look! very soothing and beautiful, isn't it?" continued Vincent.

Henry tried to keep his temper in control. He is now more patiently waiting for an answer from Vincent. Vincent also twisted and looked at Henry fiercely. He propped his body casually on the iron barrier of the balcony.

"First, uncle seems to have to learn manners again. This is not how to meet and talk to the king who is still in power."

Henry was about to open his mouth at Vincent's babble that he considered arrogant. But that didn't happen because Vincent didn't give him a chance to speak.

"Secondly, if the uncle is welcome to sit down, the uncle should sit down. We're talking about this well and family. So please sit down, Uncle."

I don't know why this time Henry just obeyed what Vincent said. It's not that Henry actually also wanted to discuss peacefully so that Evernan could escape the punishment of pancung. It's just that Henry's anger that he couldn't accommodate before made him explode in front of Vincent. Seeing that Henry was already sitting on the chair that had been prepared, Vincent also stepped back to his seat with a smile. He accompanied his uncle to sit down and began to have a serious and peaceful chat.

"Third, how could uncle know that Evernan was innocent? Is there any hard evidence to suggest that Evernan is innocent? I do have evidence and eyewitnesses as well," Vincent snapped.

The look on Henry's face seemed to indicate a great annoyance. Henry still tried to find the answer to Vincent's question carefully.

"I'm Her immediate superior Evernan. I know very well she's not that strong on women. Even more so the lord princess Lily who is the royal prima donna of Dragonhart."

"If it's just that, it's a pity that it's not strong enough to prove Evernan's innocence. Meanwhile, I have strong evidence in the form of existing scars and direct confessions from Lily. Besides, the two of them were also eyewitnesses to Lily's confession," Vincent said, pointing to Clark and Newt who were standing behind Vincent's chair.

"Just because of the small wound that Evernan made to Lily, did you make the decision to pee her?! You're so sane, Vincent! This kingdom is in the midst of conflict here and there and has not been completely dissolved, you are actually more concerned about your sister!"

"Just get to the point, so that Evernan is guilty, isn't it? So what is your purpose for seeing me?" asked Vincent curiously.

"I ask you to commute the sentence on Evernan! She doesn't deserve to be punished! The people would obviously be very disappointed if the wise king Vincent arbitrarily mounted people!" said Henry.

"Evernan didn't just hurt my sister, Uncle. He had also hurt this kingdom enough. Evernan has the potential to become a dangerous royal rebel! My knight has scraped enough evidence that she deserves to be punished!" insisted Vincent not to be outdone.

Henry was made speechless. He just fell silent looking for the right excuse. Meanwhile, Vincent returned to a triumphant smile because of the arrest of Duchess Evernan. One of the people in his palace that Vincent thought would make it difficult for him later besides Henry was Evernan.

"Be a wise king, Vincent. Like your father used to always make decisions with the right and fair considerations. Let the judge at trial decide whether Evernan is guilty or not. If you stay true to that decision of yours, uncle is worried that there will be chaos everywhere."

[Damn it! This guy didn't give up either]

"Thank you for the suggestion, Uncle. But I actually feel like I've been kind to Evernan because she's the only one who's been punished. Just imagine if this matter was brought all the way to trial. Surely Evernan will drag hee group or her superiors related to the dragonhart royal rebellion to be punished," Vincent threatened by cornering Henry.

BAM!

"You can't be like this, Vincent! The wise king did not make arbitrary decisions! You'll know the aftermath later!" retorted Henry after pounding the table.

The rapid movements were shown reflexively by Clark and Newt. The two of them couldn't stand Henry's attitude towards Vincent. Henry was very surprised to find that the two swords of Clark and Newt had already prepared on his neck and just slashed them.

"Remember, Uncle! I am king, and you dare to doubt my decision," Vincent said.
