Hey, mummy," Alex said with his little hands on my thigh and I smiled broadly.

"Hey, sweetheart!" I said as I snuggled him into my arms, kissing his forehead and every part of his body while he giggled playfully.

"Stop it, mum," he said with his tiny voice as he giggled, pushing my hands away from him to free himself.

"You want me to stop?" I asked as I raised my eyebrow and he nodded before I started tickling him. He laughed out loud, tossing around in bed as I did so.

"I'm gonna fart, mum," he said playfully amidst laughter and I sniffed his butt playfully making a sound as though I could smell his fart already.

"I didn't fart yet, mum. No lies," he said and I pulled him into my arms, hugging him.

"I love you, mummy!" he said as he wrapped his little arms around my neck, causing my heart to melt into a liquid form.

"I love you too, sweetheart. I love you so much!"
