With no words and no reactions, I walked past him as though he was invincible.

I was shocked to see him. I could see the look on his face, the surprise, the plea and the way his eyes followed behind me.

I wish I could act according to my body, the way it wants to hold him right to my chest and stroke his hair, the way my lips wants to grace his and the way my legs wants to turn back to him but I couldn't look past all he did to me.

I could be delusional or in a way unknown to me, could have led him on with the petty smiles on my face while he was here but I still could not wave behind me everything that happened.

I walked outside and could feel his footsteps behind me. His steps were slow and subtle as though he doesn't want me to know he was behind me or he wasn't being watchful of the steps I take.

I suddenly stopped and so did the footsteps. I swiftly turned around to look behind me but to my greatest surprise, I was alone.
