Chapter 126

The atmosphere around his house was still the same as always except now, it wasn't full of as much life as it used to be___it was sick and lifeless.

I dropped off my car and looked around his lawn and everywhere around before looking up at the mansion that sited rightly in front of me. It all meant nothing now.

I walked in with a sullen heart and a saddened soul, pushing the giant door open and greeted by emptiness. The whole living room felt so empty like it had been long since anyone lived there or even been long since I visited.

I walked to his room where I could hear him groaning even before walking in. I rushed in to him, only to find him crawling on the ground towards the entrance.

"Dad!" I exclaimed as I rushed to his side. It all got worse and to some extent, I could understand why he insisted on not visiting the hospital.
