The Silver-Haired Man

Talisa tried to get up but Darius immediately grabbed both of her wrists and dropped her body onto the bed. Darius pressed Talisa's hands on the bed so she couldn't move.

"Darius! Let me go! You're crazy!" Talisa exclaimed.

Darius didn't answer. He quickly pressed Talisa's body. His face is now so close to hers, and her heart starts to beat faster. Darius' enticing scent made her blush. Even so, Talisa struggled, she didn't want to just give up.

"Start to concentrate, or I'll start touching your body," Darius said.

"You can't do that to me!" Talisa exclaimed.

"You think I can't?" Darius asked with a cold face and a threatening look in his eyes.

With Darius' strength, Talisa knows she can't possibly fight back. Even though her body told her to give up and accept Darius' touch, Talisa still tried to maintain her pride. That's why, like it or not, Talisa had to try to concentrate, looking for more clues about Sherina.

"Okay, but I can't concentrate if you stay on top of me," said Talisa. She doubts that she could find anything about that little girl, but she knows that Darius would do anything to force her.

Darius was silent for a moment as if he was considering it. A second later, he shifted from Talisa's body, then sat beside her, as if making sure Talisa wouldn't run away. After Darius shifted, Talisa then took a deep breath and tried to concentrate. She didn't know what she was supposed to do, because the visions that came over and over again were in the same place, the same thing. However, Talisa kept trying.

"What do you see?" asked Darius.

"Nothing," Talisa answered honestly. As much as she tried, not a single vision came to her.

"Damn! Of course…" Darius said with a shaky breath.

"What?" Talisa asked, opening her eyes.

"We are on the second floor, far from your source of power. I forgot you are not fully master the power of the earth yet. Follow me!" Darius exclaimed while pulling Talisa's hand.

Talisa staggered because her body was dragged as Darius walked briskly out of the room.

"Darius! I can walk without being dragged!" Talisa exclaimed angrily. She then pulled her hand tightly to get out of Darius' grip.

"Okay, but hurry. We can't waste time," said Darius.

Without answering, Talisa walked quickly past Darius to descend the stairs. The two of them then walked towards the flower garden. The floral scent indulged Talisa's sense of smell, making her slightly calmer. She stepped quickly towards the place where she had a clearer vision of Sherina before.

"Hurry up, I have a bad feeling," said Darius.

His almost expressionless face now looked a little worried. Talisa understood now that this was serious. She didn't know how accurate Darius' hunch was, but Talisa didn't want anything bad to happen. So, she immediately sat cross-legged on the ground and began to close her eyes. Like yesterday, Talisa took a deep breath to calm herself and a moment later she began to feel nature as if all the cells in her body were one with the earth that she stepped on.

However, as soon as Talisa sensed the nature around her, she also immediately sensed someone's presence. Talisa was quite sure, that person was watching their movements.

"There's someone there!" Talisa said as she opened her eyes and pointed at the shady trees to her right.

Immediately after, a rustling sound was heard. The leaves and twigs swayed, indicating that someone was running behind the trees. Darius ran quickly and Talisa immediately followed him. They kept running until they came out of the rounded area covered with long tendrils.

"He's headed out!" Talisa exclaimed when she saw the figure running fast towards the outer wall of Darius' mansion. Talisa just realized that behind the wall was probably a forest, because the trees seemed to be towering out there.

"Hey! Stop!" cried Darius.

But the figure continued to run very fast. There's no way it was an ordinary human. He ran too fast for an ordinary human, he was even faster than Darius and Talisa. At times like this, Talisa also realized that all this time she had run much faster than other people. In the past, she had always thought that she had talent in sports and even won a few running championships in school, but she didn't think this was the case.

Even though the man was running very fast, Talisa and Darius managed to shorten the distance between them. From that close distance, even though the moon was covered in clouds tonight, Talisa was very sure that the figure they saw was a man.

Darius spread his arms and flames burst out from his palms. The fire was very quickly thrown into a dangling tree branch. The branch, which already looked a little fragile, fell right in front of the running man. However, unexpectedly, the man moved his hand and made a strong wind blow the burning branch away, opening a path for him to run. Talisa's eyes widen, maybe he's one of the masters of the air.

"Unlucky!" cried Darius.

The man had almost reached the outer wall. He moved his hand down and the gust of wind allowed him to jump very high. He could barely get past the high wall that separated Darius' mansion from the forest outside, but Darius shot fire at the top of the wall, setting the wild vines above him so that the man fell back to the ground.

"Talisa! Do something!" cried Darius.

"Like what?" Talisa asked confused.

"Good grief! You are the master of the earth!" cried Darius.

Talisa thought quickly. Maybe something like a vine could bind the man. But how to grow vines?

"Talisa! Quickly!" Darius exclaimed as he continued to run.

Talisa felt stupid, but she tried to speak or rather begged the earth.

'Please, grow a vine and then snare the man's feet,' Talisa pleaded in her heart.

A moment later, Talisa could hardly believe what she was seeing. Big tendrils began to grow rapidly from the ground near the man who was trying to jump a second time.

"No!" cried the man as the tendrils caught his leg and tied him tightly. The man fell to the ground with a thud.

Darius and Talisa ran to the man. Talisa could see it now. The man had platinum hair that gleamed in the moonlight. More like silvery now. He probably hadn't cut his hair in months, for it almost reached his broad shoulders. The man looked up at Talisa and Darius now, revealing his perfect face. Talisa was surprised, 'are all the men in Traum this perfect?', she thought.

His eyes were blue like the sky, his nose was sharp and firm, and his thin lips seemed to hold many mysteries. The man fell to his knees because the vines Talisa had grown forced him to do so, but Talisa could see his tall and athletic stature. Maybe a little shorter than Darius.

"Michael," Darius said.

Talisa widened her eyes as she turned to Darius, surprised that Darius knew the name of the handsome silver-haired man.

"How are you, Darius? Can you tell Talisa Williams to loosen the vines? It hurts," he said with a lopsided smile. The mysterious look on his face instantly disappeared as soon as the witty smile appeared. He looked at Talisa with a gaze that seemed a bit naughty to Talisa.
