The Sorcerers' Trap

"Hey! Are you deaf!" cried Michael. He was still trying to provoke the magicians. That way, they might be able to have a chance to leave this place.

"We don't carry the copy right now! If we die now, you won't be able to get it!" Talisa exclaimed, adding to Michael's words.

"Come here! Don't hide behind magic like a coward!" Darius added.

However, there was no sign of the magicians coming and revealing themselves. Meanwhile, the carved circular crest below them grew brighter.

"They will suck our strength if we keep touching the floor," said Darius.

"The whole floor is lit!" Talisa exclaimed.

He looked back and around, even the stairs and the second floor were filled with circles with the same pattern, not a single gap. They can't run anywhere.

"Damn it!" cried Michael.

"I'll keep us floating for a while!" said Michael again.
