Chapter 14

Cataleya woke up tied in a tree with her neck lay limply on her left shoulder. She groaned upon moving her head as if she had been in that position for long period of time. She adjusted to the pain first, trying to ease the ache by moving her neck from side to side.

After the numb subsided, she slowly looked around the surrounding. S he was greeted with bonfires with men surrounding them. She blinked countless times before her vision cleared but her ears seemed to not worked very well as it only registered a vague murmurings of the people. She recalled that she was hit on the side of her head while she thrashed on someone's hold. Maybe that was the reason.

Her throat dry and her stomach asked for some food.

But with the stench going on in there, she will be lucky if she ever find any decent food stored in there.

There were boisterous laughters among those pigs while they ate a barely cooked meat over the fire. It seemed that they were dividing the spoils among themselves. There were even women in there and the chains and cuts in their skins indicated that they might be kidnapped people like her now.

One even screamed in fright when a fat man grabbed the girl and made her sat on his lap. The men laugh at the girl's misery. Cataleya felt like stabbing each of those beasts one by one until they begged for their lives.

In a distance, Cataleya saw the bowman who killed her horse twice. Her hands in knuckles as she glared at his direction. There was no way she can kill him by looks. She had to do something and if she ever escaped there, she will certainly avenge for her horse beforehand.

"So here's our newly acquired wench. She's loaded with gems when we got her."

Cataleya's eyes went to the guy in a torn hat. His mustaches appeared to be untrimmed for years and grow like a bush on his face. His cheeks were pinked with alcohol and she had no time to control herself from making a gagging reflex.

"Honestly, when did you take a bath. You stink like the devil." Maybe the villainous part of her just came out that very moment that she didn't hesitate to spat hatefully to the guy.

"And may I mention that she's quite feisty too." The man in mustache didn't take an offense to her words and just laughed it off.

"I can see that with all these cuts on her skin and forehead. I bet you had to drag her hair." The man beside the mustache guy, who was a little cleaner and presentable, gave Cataleya a one ran over her whole body.

"She's beautiful, nevertheless. I bet your master will enjoy playing on her." the mustache guy said.

"I bet. We have a deal." The other man said and handed the mustache guy a bag of golds.

The mustache's expression brightened as he received the payment for selling Cataleya. He opened the bag and it was as if he saw heaven when his expression turned divinely exhilarated.

"I suggest you tell your master to play with her in chain until she feels weak to fight. After then, he do anything he wants with her." the mustache guy said and whistled for his men to free Cataleya who was just listening to the two guys.

Of course, she knew what was happening and she thought that going with the cleaner and presentable man would be a little better than spending more time in that forsaken and filthy soils of the bandits.

"Go now, wench. Make sure to pleasure your master, hmm?" the mustache guy said and Cataleya winched at the stench of his bad breath. Although a chained, she was able to raise her hands together and flew a slap on his face and spit on the ground where he collapsed.

The mustache guy only laughed and held on his cheeks, looking up at her.

"Maybe it's a bad idea running away from home, isn't it?" the mustache guy said.

Cataleya was held by the other two men working under the one who bought her out from that place.

"No. Everything happens for a reason. Now that I know that there are many scumbags that I need to get get rid of this land. Wait for my vengeance over your wine and meat." Cataleya laughed like she had lost her mind. "I will comeback and make that your last supper."
