Cataleya glanced over the old tower clock as they passed over it in slow pace. The falling of the snow became heavier and it might be a bad idea to celebrate at the palace in such condition. Most of the tower was covered with white, making half of its face disappeared from proper view.

When they passed passed over the bridge, they had an overlooking of the palace in not so distant place.  It won't be too long before they willarrived at the gates there.

"Can we go back to Aristol at this weather?" Ruby asked out of nowhere and Cataleya saw that Ruby was also eyeing the outside view.

"I don't think that's possible. Maybe after the party, we can have a sleep over to one of the inns here." Cataleya suggested, turning to the duke's direction. "Will that be alright?"

The duke glanced at Cataleya and then to Ruby. "We have a temporary place in the main city. We can stay there for the night."

Ruby clapped at that. "That's better."
