A Part Of Always And Forever

Klaus Mikaelson was standing outside the Forbes House, it was almost seven thirty. He hadn't seen Caroline. He knew she wasn't inside because he had already used his keys to check if she was there. But, she wasn't.

Klaus called her, it went straight to voicemail.

"Caroline, if you are getting this….Pick up."

He was starting to get worried. Caroline had a schedule, and she stuck to it. It had been almost one and half hours from when Caroline was supposed to get home.

"Where are you?" He whispered to himself, "Come on…."

He called once more.

"This is Caroline, I can't reach the phone right. But if you have something important to say….Call me later." Caroline's cheery voice came from the other side. "Or leave a message. Thank you."

A loud beep came from the other side, and Klaus stared at the phone. He turned it off.

Caroline Forbes woke up, she looked up, groaning.

"Your phone's been buzzing like hell!" Caroline looked at the man, on the other side of the bars.

Caroline stood up, and used her vampire speed to throw the bars off, but they were covered with vervain.

She screamed.

"What do you want?" She told him.

"I am a revenge seeker!" He told her, spraying her with vervain.

"What the hell did I ever do to you?" She groaned.

"Not you, your kind!" He told her, "I am a wolf!"

Caroline looked confused.

"And?" Caroline looked at him. She was a wolf too.

"I hate vampires!" He shouted.

"I am a wolf too!" She told him.

"But, also, a vampire!" He sprayed her with vervain again.

"Where is my phone!?" Caroline shouted at him.

"Here!" He gave it to her, "Call your vampire friends!" He told her. "Bring them here!"

She snatched her phone and checked her messages.

"Caroline, if you are getting this call…" She heard Klaus's voice. "Pick up….Please!"

She smiled.

"We are in a junkyard six miles from Mystic Falls, north!" He snickered, "Call anyone you want, vampire hunters and wolves are surrounding it."

She called Klaus.

"Hello!?" She said,

"Caroline!" He said, "Where are you! I have been waiting for hours!"

He exclaimed.

"I am in trouble." Caroline said softly, "I am in a junkyard, six miles north from Mystic Falls."

He sprayed her with vervain again.

"Ahh.." She groaned, "Please, be careful....and bring reinforcements…...Like, Elijah."

"Okay…!" Klaus told her, "I'll be there in thirty minutes."

She turned off the phone, and looked around properly. She saw a jar full of hearts. She jumped.

"What is that?" She whispered, "What?"

"Souvenirs, when I conquered others like you!"

"No…" She had tears in her eyes. "Oh...My...God!" She had her hand to her mouth. "No…"

She sat down.

"More Vampires are coming!" The man opened the door, and shouted. "You, girl, are extremely selfish!"

He told Caroline.

"You are dying, and you want to drag your friends with you."

Caroline smiled,

"Well, my vampire friends are not regular vampires!" She smiled wider.

She was weak, there was no way she could break out of this cage. She sat back down.

She waited for Klaus.

After almost twenty minutes, screams and shouts were heard, thudding and loud bang, she heard.

"What is happening?" The man approached the door again.

"Let's just say, my vampires are tearing your team apart." She told him. "I have connection to the top of the line, bitch!" She was vervained, still, she laughed loudly.

He opened the door, and Klaus Mikaelson appeared at the door, and pinned him to the wall.

"Where is she?" He growled at him.

"Klaus?" Caroline waved over to him.

Klaus let him go, and Elijah Mikaelson entered the cabin, Caroline was surprised that he was still wearing a suit.

He held the man from his throat. And pulled him away.

"No one hurts my family….No one!" He threw the man out of the trailer, and he landed several feet away, and hit his head on a rock.

Klaus turned to look at Elijah, he hadn't mentioned his intention of proposing to Caroline, to his brother. But still, he knew. He smiled.

He turned towards Caroline, and pulled a metal bar. It was laced with vervain, his hands burned.

"Thank you!" She hugged him, and whispered.

"Always...Caroline!" He told her, "Always and Forever!"

"Hello, Elijah…" She started to walk out of the trailer. "Nice to see you again!"

"Likewise, Carolina!" He told her.

"It's Caroline, Elijah." She corrected him, "Caroline." Elijah repeated after her.

They started to walk outside.

"Now, I have to go," Elijah told them. "I have…...plans!"

He took the car, and Klaus hailed a cab.

"Home?" Caroline asked.

"There is something I have to show you!" He told her.

"I know I owe you one, because you just saved my life." She sighed, "But, I am so tired, and drained."

"This will just take a minute!"

Klaus gave the driver and address, and the car drove on.

After ten minutes, the car stopped.

"Okay...I remember this place!" Caroline got out. "This is where we had our first date."

Klaus smiled. She entered the place again. He showed her inside the small cabin it had. It had flowers,

"Lilies." She smiled, "My favorite."

She looked around.

"It's amazing!" She told Klaus. "This place looks amazing!"

"I am glad you like it!" He told her.

"But why did you bring me here?" She asked.

"It's my turn to ask the questions, love."

She looked at him, her eyebrows raised.

"Okay….." She didn't quite understand what he meant, but she let him continue.

"Caroline Forbes…" He held her waist, "In a thousand years, I haven't found anyone that I could love as much as I have loved you."

She smiled.

"You came into my life when I couldn't hate myself enough." He told her, "You saw something even when my own family had given up on me!"

She felt that she never noticed how deep Klaus's eyes were. They were soft, and understanding....and even kind. Maybe just for her. They were not cruel and vindictive as she had previously believed. Or what other people still believed.

He did horrible things, and she knew it. He did for reasons. Still, she knew how many kills he made. How evil he was. She didn't care. She had moved on, and fallen hopelessly in love, and she didn't know how it happened. It was something she couldn't explain.

"I love you, Caroline." He told her, "And everyday, I think I can't possibly love more than I do today."

She smiled.

"But yet, the next day, I was proven wrong." He looked at her, "I want this, what we have, to last forever."

He took out the box from his pocket, and opened it.

"Marry me, Caroline." He said.
