Dropping some sense into him

Keep in mind that i only took away his habit of getting embarrassed when talking to women, that doesn't mean that he'll turn to some kind of womanizer, but he is going to be open minded to having multiple women, later that is. I also lessened his tendency to act like an indecisive wimp.

This is also essentially a troll fic. Why did i make this? Well i saw a fanfic that includes To-LOVE-ru in its premise and dang nostalgia hit me, so i read the manga and after finishing a 165 chapters all i can say is... He sure is a wimp...

--(9:30 PM at the Suburbs of Sainan Town)--

After Lala and Rito met Zastin in the river banks, Zastin wanted to test Rito's mettle in a fight... Only for him to chicken out, Zastin didn't let it slide and gave chase with haste following on his tail, fast!

After slicing and dicing obstacles on his way and getting hit by a train, Zastin the proud warrior of Deviluke got tripped and fell by none other than his princess Lala, and thus the argument started...

A tall and handsome man with a youthful face, wearing a... Um-- an outfit that only edgy teenagers will like, kept bickering about how a spineless man can't rule the cosmos for jack shit, and that when he begins his reign everything will fall into ruin before he even makes a single command.

However that didn't deterred the beauty next to him, having a vibrant pink lustrous hair, a picture perfect face with emerald like eyes and a killer body for a supposed teenager, wearing some kind of cosplay. Lala Satalin Deviluke the first princess of planet Deviluke, stood her ground.

With a firm voice she told him that his father only cares about the throne and succession more than her and Zastin countered, this went on and on until a teen with orange spiky hair and dark-grey eyes finally snapped and screamed.

"Cut it out already!"

This, of course caught the attention of the two and looked at him, they saw a fuming face and just as Zastin was about to talk he continued.

"The heir of planet Deviluke... Or meeting posible candidates...--

--Who cares about all that..."

His voice isn't loud nor quiet but just right, his tone firm and overbearing, his eyes full of determination expressing what his desires truly wants.

'Haruna...' he thought of someone that he wanted to reach, someone he admires, someone whom he wanted to walk along side with, his eyes turned fiery ablaze as he prepared to shout once again but this time with everything hes got!

"Can't a person live a normal life--?!

--A marriage isnt possible if its with someone you don't like--!

--So please. Just go home already!"

His voice stunned the two, Zastin and Lala both looked at him in bewilderment. Zastin might just have a look of surprise but Lala? Hers is the same yet very different. And just like thunder hitting a metal pole, Rito's final words was like the final nail in the coffin.

"...So give freedom!"

'To me!' is what Rito thought.

Lala was touched... She was never really able to voiced what she wanted to others, either taking it as a joke or never putting consideration and brushing it off. That's what drove her mad and made her leave her planet, to show that she isn't kidding, to show his father that she will stand firm and will not give up!

Seeing this man who voiced out all of her problems and frustrations in pure sincerity without any hint of hesitation... Moved her and made her heart skip a beat. Her cheeks gave a red hue as she looked at Rito with a bright smile and sparkling eyes, she spoke.

"Im happy..." she said, and that word now stunned Rito.

'ehh?' he thought.

"You said you didn't like me...--

--But you understand my feelings very well."

Both of her hands clasped together, eye to eye they looked at each other.

Rito's heart if full of emotion. Frustration, confusion, anger and sympathy all those mixed and represented what he feels towards this situation, but seeing Lala's mesmerising smile, unknowingly his cheeks gave off a pale red hue for a second, maybe, just maybe something bloomed inside his heart that he hasn't discovered, covered and hidden away, a tiny seed if you will, planted deep within his consciousness, and that is--

--Affection.

Will it grow and blossom? Only time would tell.

Lala shifted her gaze back to Zastin, gentle no more as her aura shifted to serious mode.

"Like Rito said I, just want to live my life on my own--

--There are alot of things i want to do...--

--And i want to decide on my future

husband on my own too, thats what i was thinking. There are a lot of things that i wanted to do."

Rito almost choked on air by her words.

"Wa-wait?! Its about me not you!" alas no matter how hard he tried to voice his opinion no one heard it, it seems like someone set on a sound cancelling barrier between him and them, hypothetically of course.

"I used our marriage as an excuse so i wouldn't have to go back, Rito..."

A crestfallen smile found its way to her lips as she looked at him, guilty.

"But now i know..."

Her tone starting to pick up life, the crestfallen smile was replaced by a affectionate one, her glossy pink lips shone brightly by the moonlight as her next words caused Rito to turn stiff.

"I think... I really can marry you... Rito."

*Boom*

The bullet has been shot and the stiff Deer was caught.

"Ha--?!

--Wa-wait a minute!" Rito can't comprehend where did things get out of hand, what the hell just happened?!

Again he was about to speak but this time it was Zastin who interrupted him.

Zastin's face was full of guilt, only now was he able to see things clearly so with a sigh he spoke.

"...I lost earthling."

Tears suddenly sprang out of his eyes as he looked at Rito.

"It is my duty to follow king Deviluke's orders... Thus i was oblivious as to how Lala-sama feels..--

--Or rather, i know but did not think about it..."

Balling his hand into a fist, his tears flowing like a dam, he continued.

"But now that you pointed that out... I lost..."

Turning his back on them he walked out, but not before saying his final words.

"I dont know if the countless husband candidates from places all over the universe all agree with it--

--But i will report to king Deviluke myself, That we can trust Lala-sama to you--!"

"Ritoooo~" Lala was so happy that before Zastin could finish, she immediately hugged Rito's left arm lovingly, while the said teen stared at Zastin with a lifeless gaze.

"--You, who can truly understand, Lala-sama's feelings."

And so with a dog biting his right leg, the Commander of the Deviluke army started to march off.

And thus Rito falls deeper into the abyss. But his suffering actually begins here! (A/N: this was from the manga if you're confused.)

Is how it would normally end, but strangely this time it didn't happen, instead of standing still like a duck for an hour before Lala decided to bring him back home. He was able to move!

"Wait!" he bellowed out forcing everyone to look at him again.

He separated himself from Lala and started to breath deeply.

Zastin, who's slightly far away now, looked back with confusion the same was for Lala and her outfit generating robot.

"w-wait, wait a minute! Things aren't making any sense!"

"Rito?" Lala asked and Rito looked at her.

He took another deep breath and closed his eyes before speaking, this is it, now or never!

"I can't just develop feelings to someone i just met! And i most definitely can't marry a person who i just met when im already in love with someone else, things doesn't work out that way!"

"Rito..." simply put, Lala and Zastin was too stunned to speak. Peke on the other hand.

"Human! How dare you!" is obviously furious thinking that her master was rejected face to face after confessing with all her heart, the courage and bravery that her master, Lala, gathered and spent went down the drain so quickly?! Unfucking believable!

But just like Rito earlier, seems like there's another sound cancelling barrier between Peke and them.

"L-Lala-sama! Pay no heed to him he's definitely lying!" Peke tried to console Lala but Rito heard her.

"I am not! I, Yuuki Rito swear by the heavens--No, by the universe! That i love someone else! And if i am deemed a liar, then let a meteor hit me, and all the things that i said isn't real!"

"Rito..."

"You!"

"Earthling what did you just say?!"

This is it! His last stand, now that he was able to let out everything bottled up inside of him without any interruption or someone misinterpreting his words, surely all of them would get it by now right?

You'd think that there'll be a ruckus going on right now but strangely, everyone was quiet, too quiet...

Rito opened up his eyes and gave them a confused look.

"umm... guys? Hello?"

He inspected Lala for any reaction but all he can see is her looking up above, the same if for Zastin, so Rito followed.

"No... Way..."

His eyes trailed a pink line in the sky that seems to be getting closer and closer to... Him?!

"What?!"

It was too fast! He wasn't able to move at all, stuck like a deer in front of a head light!

The meteor was meters away from him, his brain told him to move, but his feet was planted solid to the ground!

And just as he was about to get hit, he instinctively pushed Lala away from him just enough for Peke to snap out of it and immediately create a pair of black wings that sprouted from Lala's back torso.

*Boom!*

Rito was hit, the sound of the meteor hitting the ground went first before a scream of a woman.

"Ritoooo!!!!"

And there it is! The start of a new story! I know its unpolished but again its just a troll fic so i wont bother cleaning it up.
