The request

Sara gave Dorian's request a great deal of thoughtful consideration. If his family found out that Dorian had awakened his magical potential, wouldn't it imply that they would remove him from her care? She was adamant about avoiding being split apart from Dorian at any cost. Despite this, she was unable to resist Dorian.

"Y-yes. I will be the most helpful and knowledgeable tutor you could require."

When Dorian heard this, he felt a sense of satisfaction. It is reasonable to assume that having a magic teacher will simplify his life. Because of Sara's assistance, he will be able to read the magic books and go on the hunts. Dorian decided to pursue the matter further after realizing that Sara had a secret crush on him.

"Would it be possible for you to lead me into the forest? Daily?"

"Is that the forest? For what reason?"

"To get in shape!"

It appeared as though Sara was opposed to the concept of Dorian going to the forest for training since she believed there was no real purpose for him to practice there, given that she could instruct him home instead.

"This is not something I would recommend doing in any way. It is far more convenient for me to instruct you in the village instead."

Nevertheless, Dorian took advantage of his charisma. He placed his palm on her cheek and muttered something in her ear while doing so.

"Please! I would be so thankful if you asked me to do anything, and I would do it without question."

[Huh? What exactly are you up to?]

Simply listening to Dorian caused the system to feel like it would throw up. She was in tremendous annoyance because it was still lodged in Dorian's body. If only she had her physical form.

During this time, Sara flushed at Dorian's flirtatious whispers and thought of many naughty things she might ask him. Dorian gave her a slight touch on the head, which surprised her.

"Kyaaa!~"

"Huh?"

"Uh, excuse me, I was just taken aback. Alright, I will approve the two of us going to the forest. Daily."

Dorian had a good mood, but he was taken aback by Sara's conduct. When he laid his palm on her head, he found that her forehead was warm to the touch. He reasoned that it must have been the result of drinking, so he grabbed her glass away before she could finish it and drank it himself.

"What is this, exactly? It is very incredible!"

Dorian was taken aback by the robust flavor of the liquor, which, while sweet, was not overpowering to the point where it was unpleasant. Dorian liked the taste very much, and he requested more of it. Sara poured him another shot of the alcoholic beverage.

"This is just a standard whiskey, nothing special. It is nothing special. You could come across the same thing in a typical local tavern."

"What?! Are you serious?"

Dorian's former incarnation did not allow him to experience the flavor of anything even quite comparable. Even though he was not wealthy, he made it a point to treat himself to more expensive liquors whenever he was able to do so. The flavor of this whiskey, on the other hand, was elevated to an entirely new level; it was exquisitely polished. While he was sipping it, Dorian had the want to groan.

"This is impressive!~."

"I take it you've never had a drink before, lol.~"

"Well, I have to say that I've never experienced anything that tasted as nice as this."

Dorian's response made Sara chuckle to herself, and she did so in a low voice. She gazed into Dorian's eyes with a wistful expression while simultaneously mulling about ways to free Dorian from his status as an enslaved person.

Dorian cracked a grin, reopened the book, and resumed reading about the various spells. Because he wanted his first spell to be something spectacular, he decided that the one he most desired to master was the ability to conjure fire. On the other hand, when he saw the spell that collects mana from the air, he came to the conclusion that this spell was more critical. It was going to work wonderfully with his passive skill of gluttony.

Dorian concluded that he could not complete the task after giving it a few tries. There was a lack of comprehension because he attempted utilizing the spell many times but to no avail. He intended to seek Sara's assistance, but the system presented her with an opportunity to assist him first.

[Do you require assistance with it?]

"Thank you so much. Could you please explain this to me?'

Dorian murmured it underneath his breath and then pointed his finger to the words he had trouble understanding. It was said in the statement that it is necessary to exercise control over the mana; however, how to do so was not mentioned.

[Ah yeah. Because individuals who have the ability for it are born with at least a low level of mana control, the books in question do not describe how to regulate mana. Yes, in order to become more proficient with it, they would need to practice, but the vast majority of people are already familiar with at least the basics of how it operates. You, on the other hand, do not originate from this realm. Not to mention the fact that Dorian, who hailed from this realm, was also the one who lacked any mana.]

"So, what are my options? What should I do?"

[To your good fortune, you have already experienced the sensation of mana moving throughout your body a few times.]

"What do you mean? When?"

[You felt magic all those times I electrocuted you.]

Dorian made an odd face and shook his head while frowning. He was unable to fathom the possibility that his earlier ordeals of pain may potentially be beneficial to his magical education. However, if the System's childish tantrums will help him in achieving his goal of becoming a deity, then.

"T-Thanks."

[No need for gratitude. It was my pleasure. Hehe!~]
