Unplanned Outing (II)

Catherine POV

Currently, I am waiting for Samuel and Stella to arrive.

Even though I am ten minutes early, it is quite fun to wait for them.After all, this town is quite lively despite being a weekend.

As I look around, I saw couples around here holding hands and flirting with one another.

I wonder if someday...I'll have a significant other.

After all, I am the villainess so it is going to be difficult.

As I am lost in my thoughts, I heard Stella call out to me.

"Catherine! Sorry for making you wait! " Stella said as she waved at me

"No worries, Stella. I just arrived here!" I said

As we are greeting each other, I saw Samuel walking on Stella's back

"Umm...Nice meeting you again, Lady Catherine." Samuel said

"Nice meeting you too, Sir Samuel. I hope we have a wonderful outing." I said to reply back

We then went to the first stop on our outing, the dog shelter.

"Oh good morning, both of you. Is it the usual?" An old lady said as we went inside.

The old lady's name is Gwyneth Smith. She is the owner of the dog shelter. She has white hair and golden eyes. We have known each other very well since we visit her dog shelter often.

"Oh! Is he a new friend of yours?" Gywneth asked

" Yes...ma'am. My name is Samuel Park. Nice to meet you." Samuel replied

We also used fake surnames since we try our best to disguise ourselves. Samuel and Stella used Park as a surname while I used Mitchell since it is my surname in my past life. We didn't change our first names since we didn't want to get confused and slip up.

"Oh! You're the brother of Stella. Nice to meet you too! I hope you get along with them. They are good kids after all." Gwyneth said while smiling.

As we finish our greetings, we headed to the dogs.

Because of our usual visits, the dogs became familiar with us. They are all so happy and wagging their tails as they saw us.

As I pet the dogs, I saw Samuel and Stella talking.

I slowly got closer but trying not to get in between them. I wanted for them to get along but I don't want to get involved and accidentally triggering Samuel's route.

"Isn't the dogs cute, Samuel?" Stella asked

"Yeah, I guess..." Samuel replied

"But I want to ask...Why do you always visit here?" Samuel said

"It helps me relax. With all of these sudden events, I just want to ease

my mind. It is still difficult for me to comprehend this new life that I'm currently having so I want to relax in this place while petting dogs. It cheers me up seeing the dogs happy making me forget all of the problems I have." Stella said

"Oh...I see" Samuel said

Huh... They are slowly getting along. Good for them!

After that, they started talking about something else like their hobbies. Sometime later, they realized that I'm close so I joined in on their conversation.

I hope we become good friends.

After our visit, we then went to a restaurant and ordered pasta.

Apparently, Samuel doesn't like carrots so I teased him a little bit. He got a bit angry so I told that I was just joking and that it is okay if he doesn't like carrots. As apology, I told him that I will pay for our meal. He still pouted but it doesn't seem like he is angry anymore.

Phew...I stepped on a landmine there. Would have been bad news if he became distant again.

After our meal, it is still 3 pm. We didn't had any places we planned on visiting but it is still a little early for us to go home. Because of this, we wandered around looking at shops.

As we are walking around, we saw a mannequin wearing a one-piece dress.

The dress gave of a proud and dignified aura looking as if a noble wears it.

"You would look great in that dress, Stella" I said while pointing at the dress

I remembered on the otome game that she had a proud and dignified aura around her. She is also wearing a similar type of dress in the game except it is a different color.

I wonder what she will look like if she wears that.

"What are you talking about, Catherine? It would not suit me. I'm sure that the dress would suit a beautiful noble unlike me." Stella said

"Don't say that! I'm sure it would suit you!" I said

"Thank you for the flatteries but I know that this will not suit me."

Why is she so insistent on denying it? You should have more confidence with yourself!

"That's not true! Samuel, this dress would suit her wouldn't it?!" I said

"Umm... I think it would suit you, Stella." Samuel said.

See! Even Samuel is agreeing with me!

"Guys! Stop with the flatteries! I know myself that I'm not the type of person that this clothes would suit. I--"

As we are talking, Samuel grabbed her by the hand and dragged her into the shop. I followed suit.

"Huh?! Wait! Samuel...What are you doing?!" Stella said as she is surprised by Samuel's actions.

"If you won't believe us, then we'll just have to go in and try them yourself!"

"Huh?! But---"

" Just think of this as shopping for your clothes. After all, we haven't bought you clothes for social gatherings." Samuel said

After some hesitation, she eventually agreed.

I asked the lady in the counter to bring the clothes over the display in the window and went to the changing rooms.

"Umm... This is a bit embarrassing." Stella said as she is holding the clothes.

"We've already come this far. Just get in and try those clothes." Samuel said.

As we are waiting for Stella to finish dressing up, I chatted with Samuel.

"You wanted to see her in that dress that badly?" I said sligthly teasing him

"Don't get the wrong idea...I just thought that it would be perfect timing to buy those clothes since we haven't bought her a dress for social gatherings." He said turning away.

He's so cute. He is such a tsundere.

After our talk, Stella drew the curtain open and we saw her wearing the dress.

She's so cute in that dress.

Although it didn't give off a proud and dignified aura like I expected, it instead gave of a cute and gentle aura around her triggering my protective urges.

Gosh... She would look great with any dress!

" See...? I told you it wouldn't suit me at all...." Stella said

"Huuuh?! How can you still say that?! Samuel! She looks great doesn't she?!" I said surprised by what Stella said.

You should have more confidence with yourself! You are a kind and gentle person! I'm sure that everyone will adore you!

"Yeah... You look lovely in that dress." Samuel said

See?! Even Samuel is mesmerized by you!

"Ok! I get it...You guys are embarrassing me!" Stella said while her cheeks are turning red.

"I'm glad that you finally believed us. Now then, I'll tell the lady that we'll take this clothes and deliver it to our house." Samuel said

"What?! But these clothes are expensive!"

" I already told you.Just think of it as shopping for your clothes. After all, we haven't bought you one for social gatherings." Samuel said

After some hesitation, she eventually agreed.

She changed back to her outing clothes and gave the dress to Samuel for him to buy it and tell the lady about the address on where to deliver it.

As we wait for Samuel, we started chatting.

"Isn't this too much? Those clothes are expensive!" Stella said still bewildered

"Dont worry about it, Stella! Samuel is kind so I'm sure he won't mind!" I said.

"What did you say about me?" Samuel said as he looked shocked.
