Catherine POV
Today, I'm hanging out with Stella...
I'm quite excited...
I caught a glimpse of Stella as she turned, and I waved at her.
"Stella, glad you are able to come."
"It's a pleasure for me also."
"Well then. Let's go."
We then decided to take a stop at a book store since our stomachs are still full.
After our first interaction, I started going out with Stella often. At first, we usually sit in the café and talk, but occasionally, we visit dog and cat shelters.
The face that Stella makes while she cuddles with the animals is adorable.
I hadn't finished the game, so I wonder if Stella had a significant other. In the game, she is quite popular, so she probably had a lover.
In the game, she is a proud and dignified noble lady, which scares other boys into confessing to her because of her strict aura. But when she is with her friends, she becomes more adorable than a rabbit.
It made me feel special knowing that I am the first to know her adorable side.
As days go by, life has become rather fun for me.
Currently, we are visiting the restaurant like usual, but then...
"Woah. It surprised me."
As we are dining, there is a bird who flew from our table, which seems to be interested in our food.
"Oh, pardon the disturbance. It seems that Peter has taken a liking to both of you," a waiter said as he walked on our table.
"No worries. We don't mind."
As I was talking to the waiter, I caught a glimpse of Stella feeding the parrot some rice.
"Oh, quite a surprise... Peter likes eating in your hands. It is quite rare for Peter to trust strangers so easily."
"Oh really..."
"Perhaps you may have some experience with birds."
"Guess you could say that," Stella said as she dryly laughed.
"Well then, nice meeting both of you. Hope that we can meet again," he said as he took the parrot and put it on his shoulder.
"Wow, Stella! I didn't know you could handle birds."
"Well, I learned it from Samuel."
"Samuel?"
"Yeah. Samuel is my brother."
I thought they never got along. That's what I thought after reading the summary.
"How did you learn it from him?"
"We would usually talk to each other in my room about everything that comes to our mind. It was quite fun and calming."
"It seems like you guys get along well."
"Yeah. He was kind to me when we first met. He treated me as family even though I am not blood related to him."
As she reminisced about Samuel, she was smiling but at the same time nostalgic, almost as if she cherished those memories.
"Are you guys not like that anymore?"
"Yeah, I missed talking to him."
She shows a face of longing as if that person is very far away from her...
I felt a sense of gloominess warping around me.
"Oh, I'm sorry for getting sidetracked. Let's go back to our outing."
After realizing the flow of the conversation, Stella tried to divert it back
"Although it is almost nighttime, would you mind strolling around looking at stores?"
"Ah, I don't mind. Let's get going."
There's something wrong; I can feel it...
