Ryan looked at Ida with wide eyes as he realised she was having a nightmare. He looked around for the air conditioner remote and grabbed it before decreasing the temperature and sat beside her quietly.

He could see the dried tears on her face as she was shivering slightly. AS if his hand had its own brain, it moved to her forehead and wiped the sweat softly. Shivers ran down his spine as he touched her.

His hand ran down to her cheek and caressed it softly, feeling her soft skin which gave a weird kind of piece to his heart and as if sensing someone, Ida turned her head slightly feeling the comfort seizing his movements.

Feeling her fall into sleep again, he rubbed his thumb over her cheek and saw her calming down and as she stopped mumbling in her sleep. He could feel his heartbeat rising unusually faster at her presence which kind of scared him and made him angry.

And then he remembered that she loved someone and he betrayed her. He immediately stood up from his place and walked away shutting the door.

He didn't himself know what he was feeling and he didn't even want to know now. He ran his hands through his hair and groaned annoyingly after he realised that he went to get her picture and ended up staring at her.

shutting his eyes tightly, he fisted his hand as her sleeping figure came in front of his eyes again. He shook his head, trying to get her picture away from his head as the flashback started repeating in his mind where she was whimpering.

He pulled his hair and sighed not knowing what to do. One thing he was sure of was that he was getting attracted to her and was getting obsessed.

He banged his door and walked to his bed angrily and sat there before grabbing his mobile and called Christopher and asked him to bring the details as soon as possible.

He laid down and looked at the ceiling thinking about her. His life was normal until now where he was just killing and killing people and preparing himself to take over his dad's position and rule the empire.

Until a girl was found in one of the guest rooms who flipped his heart in seconds with her innocence and is making him angry at himself and her for losing it's pace.

Orion empire

Kiarah walked to Alden's office wishing he would be there so that she can talk about what is going to happen tomorrow. She tried a lot of times before too but she was just turned down by everyone about the most important thing for the empire.

She looked at the door which was slightly opened and pushed it slightly and found Alden staring at something.

Frowning, she entered inside quietly and looked at what he was staring at. Wall. The place where Ida's pic was hung until this day before Kelen removed it forcefully.

Alden was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't realise when his sister barged in slowly. He almost jumped in his place when he felt a tap on his shoulder and looked to his left to find his sister looking at him confused.

He cleared his throat as he gulped down the silent tears and looked at her plastering fake smile. She frowned more but didn't say anything.

He sighed internally, not at all liking himself for being with his sister like some outsider. He knows she is really worried for him from the past weeks and he knows how much he means to her. But he just couldn't bring himself to talk to her like before.

"Do you want something Kiarah?" He asked in a soft voice, trying not to cry again as he fisted his hands trying to control his emotions.

"Yeah" Kiarah trailed off not knowing how to speak about the topic which she sure as hell knows he is going to divert but she wants to give it a try. This is her last chance.

"what is it?" He asked, raising his eyebrows, his appearance completely changed from the last time she saw him months ago.

"It's about Matthew's throne ceremony," Kiarah said hesitantly, not knowing how he is going to react. His whole body went rigid as he heard her.
