The Devil Beside Me

"So…" Xander grinned at Luca and then at Rex, who took the seat next to her. "Yesterday… I thought…"

Xander didn't finish his sentence and simply raised his brows, giving the two a knowing look. He remembered everything last night because they were watching Luca flirt with this guy and heaved a sigh of relief when she left this guy hanging. So, it was a surprise they were now on a second date.

"Well…" Luca sported a grin, casting Rex a flirtatious look. The latter winked at her before she faced Xander. "Last night was crazy, but we met this morning and smoothen out the misunderstanding last night. I was still surprised that he was staying in the same hotel."

"I think that's fate," Rex backed up, making Luca and Nova cringe secretly. "Right?"

"Ha ha… yes. Fate." Luca cleared her throat, keeping her excited demeanor as if a teenager in love for the first time. "We're really a great match."
