Do you remember my name?

"Good."

Luca kept her smile until her brows rose. The man also raised his brows and cocked his head to the side.

"Won't you let me go?" she asked, peaking down at the closeness of their bodies. His arm was still snaked around her waist, her back against the door, his other hand on her side, and they could literally smell each other's breath.

Having this knowledge, she pursed her lips into a thin line and held her breath. She lowered her head and murmured.

"Will you let me go, please?"

"Why?" the man returned with genuine wonder in his voice.

"Just…" Her face burned with shame.

"Just?"

"I haven't brushed my teeth."

"..."

The man blinked before the corner of his lips curled up. He didn't want to let her go because they were 'married,' and mentally prepared a good argument lest she brings up a ridiculous reason he had to let her go. But alas, he didn't expect her reasoning was that… simple.
