Chapter 797: 'New' Leone (1)*

When I finally managed to get up and stable, I made my way out the door and back onto the scorched street, where I found Leone - still in her True Vampire form - staring up at the moon as she leaned against the wall of the building I had been in.

Her side profile that was illuminated by the moonlight took my breath away, especially when she turned to look at me, her ashen hair sparking and adding more light to both her features and the area around us.

She looked so much more regal and exotic now that her skin was this beautiful red, those horns adding to her height and making her a tad more imposing, whilst the sharper, unwavering gaze and innate confidence that came with this form was so different than normal that I couldn't help but stand there, losing myself inside those crimson eyes.
