Chapter 50 Clinic

Inside one of the other rooms in the hallway. A sort of clinic is set up. It has a bunch of drawers, a couple of clean beds, and a very angry looking Lilly.

"I'll show that man."

"I have had enough."

"This time for sure..."

These are only a couple of things muttered while badaging up Miya on one of the beds.

The other two girls are on separate beds, only capable of watching sheepishly as they have already been badaged up.

Miya meanwhile had a shy and a slightly scared expression because what Lilly is currently saying sounds a lot like she is trying to summon a demon.

"And, I just fixed Hela too. Why do I have to do everything over here?" Lilly continued her quiet, but scary rant as the girls continued to watch her.

Lilly placed a bandage on Miya's arm as she said. "That's all. You girls are fully bandaged up."

Miya stood up and bowed towards her as she said. "Thank you for fixing me up. And also, I'm sorry."

"Hmph!" Lilly responded by crossing her arms as she took a glance towards the other two girls.

Amber and Rose proceeded to bow towards her as they said. "We're sorry."

"Why did you even ask for his help?" Lilly asked while her arms are still crossed.

Rose scratched the back of her head as she said. "Well, umm, you see..."

"Say it. I can take it." Lilly said with a serious look on her eyes.

Hearing Lilly's reassurance, Rose continued. "Well, you see. You were a bit of a bad teacher..."

Lilly placed her hand onto her chest as she said with a pained expression. "Ouch! It hurts to hear it out loud."

"I'm truly sorry, Lilly. Maybe we can do something to make it up to you?" Rose said as she took another bow.

"Don't worry. You'll make it up to me once I deliver punishment to you girls." Lilly stated as she gave the girls a terrifiying gaze.

The girls felt a chill run up their spine upon meeting Lilly's scary glare. Lilly then continued. "Actually, I may need your help in dealing Goldie's punishment. Hold on a sec..."

Lilly then stood up and proceed to search the drawers while Rose asked. "How are you gonna punish THE Golden Hands?"

"By the help of this!" Lilly replied as she pulled an item from one of the drawers. It was a small wooden box with a wooden tube poking out of the middle while a glass lense reflected the light in the room.

"That is a camera! Why do have those?!" Rose exclaimed. The other two just watched with curious gazes.

"Oh, I'm surprised you know about this, Rose. This is quite a secret." Lilly replied with a shock face.

"Well, I have been taught how those things work back on... Titan. But, why do you have those?" Rose replied.

"Well, the answer is simple. Goldie took it from a Titan group that we fought way back."

Rose just stared at her with an amazed look in her eyes. Lilly scratched her cheeks upon seeing Rose's eyes, looking a bit embarassed.

"What's this 'camera', Rose? Can you explain?" Amber asked.

Rose looked at Lilly, looking like she is asking for permission. Lilly gave her a slight nod, handed her the camera, and took a step back with a gentle smile on her face.

Rose raised the camera in her hand, and pointed at it while beginning her explanation. "This is a camera. This is a bit high on the secrecy chart on Titan."

"It is used to 'capture moments' in the world. It's better to show you than talk about it."

"Can you pose for me, Miya?" Rose asked as she pointed the lens towards Miya.

"Huh?!" Miya didn't know how to react to Rose's request, so she just kinda flapped her hands infront of the camera.

"And, click!" Rose said as she pressed a button on the camera, causing a bright light to come from a tiny slit on the wooden casing.

"Aah!!!" Miya let out a shriek out of pure panic, as her eyes were blinded by the bright light.

Soon, a white, flat, square popped out of the camera. Amber got closer to take a look with curiosity brimming in her eyes.

Rose grabbed the white square, swung it in the air for a couple of times, before handing it to Miya while saying. "Here you go, Miya. Have a look at your picture."

Miya opened her slightly red eyes as she took a look at the picture Rose offered to her.

She grabbed it and took a seat on one of the beds. Lilly and Amber sat beside her, as they also wanted to take a look.

The picture in Miya's hand showed her, Miya, swinging her hands infront of her as her eyes began to shrink because of the light.

"It's... me?" Miya said while looking at a picture.

"Yes, it is you. From a different time, that's only a couple of seconds ago." Rose replied.

"It's like looking at a mirror frozen in time." Amber said as she continued to look at the picture.

"Can I have that picture when your done with it? I'll place it in the album." Lilly said.

While handing the picture to her, Miya asked. "What's an album?"

"It's where you keep your photos." Lilly replied as she took a thick book from one of the drawers and insert the picture in it while giggling like a child.

"Can we take a look?" Amber asked, curious to see what this album is about.

Lilly suddenly closed the book as she replied to Amber with a bright smile. "Nope!'

"So, how are we going to use that against Golden hands?" Rose asked.

"Can I have that while you guys talk?" Amber asked while pointing at the camera Rose held.

"Sure thing." Rose answered as she handed the camera over to Amber and Miya.

"I'm glad you asked, Rose!" Lilly said.

"You see, when I first discovered how that camera works. I asked to take everyone's photo, it took some time and a lot of persuasion tactics, but in the end I gathered most of them."

"Only most of them because there's still one I have yet to get. Goldie's photo."

"You see, when I'm going to take someone's photo I ask for their permission first. But, Goldie being himself, just gave me his signiture sadistic smile before running away."

"Ever since then, I have been trying to take his picture out of pure spite. But, everytime my attempt is foiled because Goldie always knows what I'm about to do because of his stinking power."

"That's why I said to him multiple times, he should change his title from 'the greediest man in the world' to 'the most paranoid man in the world'."

"So, in conclusion. I need your girls' help to finally take down this tyrant." Lilly said as she raised her fist in the air.

"How exactly are we going to do that? Aaah!!!" Rose asked Lilly before screaming in pain as a bright flash blinded her.

A picture popped out of the camera Miya held as she paused at the moment she pressed the button on the camera.

"I'm sorry, Rose." Miya apologized.

"I am fine, Miya, it's just... my eyes..." Rose said as she rubbed her eyes with her arms.

"Can I have that picture?" Lilly asked.

Miya then handed her the picture of Rose she just took.

Placing the picture in the album while wearing a satisfied smile, Lilly replied. "You don't have to worry about that, Rose."

"I have prepared my whole life for this. All of my choices have led to this moment."

"The moment we, the abused, finally deliver karmic punishment against the bully known as, Chrys 'Goldie' Cheria!" Lilly shouted greatly dumbfounding the girls.
