An Immortal was sent flying of into a building, the reason for this is because she blocked an earth spike with her arms covered in Lucile.
Just as a dust cloud emerged from the hole that the Immortal made, a barrage of arrows was sent through it.
Morgan, who sent the arrows towards the Immortal in the building, didn't spare her another thought as she shot another wall of arrows towards the other Immortals.
The Immortals blocked Morgan's arrows with the help of their Lucile, but suddenly, earth spikes began to form infront of them.
Not wanting to get hit, the Immortals tried to dodge to the side, but Morgan kept firing arrows at them, pining them down.
Since they did not want to get hit by the earth spikes, the Immortals used their hands, covered them with their Lucile, and blocked the earth spike, but in doing so, a few of Morgan's arrows managed to hit their unguarded body parts.
Although they got hit, the Immortals moved their bodies in such a way to avoid taking critical damage to their bodies.
When Morgan saw this, she tried to send a few more arrows towards them, but another group of Immortals approached from behind her.
Suddenly, a wall made of earth appeared behind Morgan, blocking the Immortals from reaching her.
Chrys, who was the one who did this, approached Morgan and said. "I'm sending you up."
Morgan nodded without hesitation.
Seeing her nod, Chrys touched the ground underneath him. A second later, Morgan was sent high in the air via a tall tower that seemed to sprout up from the ground instantly.
The Immortals knocked down the wall Chrys has put up before they looked up the towering piece infront of them.
"She has a bow. We should get her down immediately!" One of the Immortals screamed.
Chrys then stepped forward infront of them with a golden orb floating in his hand. He then said. "No."
Then suddenly, the golden orb of light in Chrys' hand shot towards one of the Immortals. The orb approached in such a speed that the Immortals where caught off guard.
A second later, an arm has been severed.
The orb that Chrys sent forward managed to hit one of the Immortals in the elbow, slicing her arm off and castrating the wound, like a hot knife through butter.
"Aaaargh!" The Immortal, who just got her arm cut off, screamed in pain.
Another Immortal reached for her and asked. "Are you alright?! Is everything else working properly?!"
The Immortal with the severed arm, stood up with smoke still from the wound. She then said. "Oh, I'm making him pay for that!"
The Immortal beside her then giggled after seeing her entusiasm. While the golden orb that severed her arm, returned to Chrys' side.
Then, a gust of wind started to head towards Chrys.
It formed a few vortexes before the vortexes form into more golden orbs. A total of five golden orbs are know floating menacingly beside Chrys.
He then sent all of them towards the Immortals. The Immortals all dodged after seeing what those golden orbs can do.
But suddenly, the Immortal, with the severed arm, fearlessly covered her other arm with Lucile and punched the golden orb heading for her.
Instead of getting her other arm cut off, thanks to the Lucile in her fist, the golden orb made contact with her fist without damaging it.
Seeing her gamble work, the Immortal smiled as she put more force into her remaining fist, sending golden orb into the ground.
The golden orb then slowly disappeared as a burn mark is left on the ground, but not on the Immortals' fist.
The other Immortals saw this, causing them to smile as they covered all of their hands with their Lucile.
"Tsk!" Chrys let out a click as the orbs returned to his side as more formed behind him.
Meanwhile up on the tower, Morgan, instead of firing down arrows like the Immortals thought, was scanning the entire town with her eyes instead.
She placed her hand above her eyes to cover them from the sun's rays as she continued to scout the entire town.
She saw plenty of Immortals running around while the citizens are hiding in their houses. She saw Celine and Set fighting their own battles not too far away.
But after a few more seconds of searching, she saw what she was looking for.
A group of three girls hurriedly running towards the exit of town with Immortals all around searching for them.
Morgan then stood properly and drew her bow. She then shot towards one of the Immortals closest to the three girls.
Thanks to the Immortals' naturally strong instinct and reflex, the Immortal managed to dodge Morgan's arrow.
Although she didn't hit the Immortal, Morgan gathered the attention of the Immortals near the girls.
The Immortals looked at the tower she was perched upon and thought immediately. "Not good... for you."
All of them then ran towards the tower, leaving the three girls to continue their run safely.
When Morgan saw the influx of Immortals heading her way, she then mumbled. "I should probably..."
After saying that, Morgan then sent a few arrows towards the Immortals that Set and Celine were fighting, gathering their attention and sending some of them to head towards her.
"Hmph!" Celine saw what Morgan was trying to do, causing her to let out a cold snort as she continued to fight the Immortals that remained.
Meanwhile Set stared silently at the tower, his eyebrows twitched a bit before he bonked one of the Immortals with his right arm that was still encased in metal.
After sending a few more barrages at the Immortals down below, Morgan noticed that the Immortals have formed a neat circle around the tower not too far away.
Then, the Immortals covered their fists in their Lucile and punched towards the tower. Sending their Lucile speeding like a bullet, headed directly for the tower.
Morgan lowered herself to the floor she stood on in preparation on what is about to come.
Then it happened.
The bullet-like Luciles slammed into the tower full-force. Although some of the earlier ones were blocked by a faint golden aura, most of the latter ones hit the tower directly.
The Immortals watched as the tower slowly crumbled, but after seeing it won't fall down entirely, they decided to hit it again.
But before they could attack, Morgan willingly jumped off the tower.
She hurled towards the ground full-force without any attempt on slowing herself down.
Meanwhile on the ground, an Immortal stepped in front of another with her legs covered in Lucile. She kicked a golden orb away that was heading for the other Immortal's leg.
The golden orb flew past Chrys, who was standing at the base of the tower. He streched out his right arm to the side before moving it upwards with a flicking motion.
As if moving with Chrys' hand, a sudden updraft formed around Chrys and headed upwards. The wind travelled up the tower, eventually reaching the falling Morgan.
The wind then slowly upped it's power as Morgan fell closer to the ground. Chrys then extended his arms infront of him.
A few moments later, Morgan fell slowly into his arms. He slowly let her down as earth spikes formed around him, blocking and attacking the incoming Immortals.
Morgan looked at him with her blue, emotionless eyes and said. "Set and the other one is doing fine. The girls should leave the confines of the town in a few more minutes. Also, more Immortals are headed this way."
Chrys released a smirk as he replied. "If that's the case, this place will be too cramp. Stay close to me, Morgan."
Morgan stood back to back with Chrys, who then placed his hand on the ground. A golden glow seemed to have enveloped the place.
The Immortals in this part of town felt like something was coming, for ground was quaking, the air feels rapid, and buildings are crumbling.
A manic smile formed on Chrys' face as he said. "Mine."
Then, the Immortals all suddenly jumped up from the ground as massive cracks formed on the floor.
The Immortals on the buildings also jumped, as the buildings they were stood on began to crumble as well.
As if it couldn't get worse, a strong gust of wind swirled around the place, making the Immortals feel like they were in a tornado with the eye of the storm directly above Chrys and Morgan.
Then, the five golden orbs that floated beside Chrys moved with the wind.
The Immortals saw this and tried to counter it with their Lucile, but thanks to the wind, the debris from the buildings and surroundings were flying beside the orbs.
It ensured that even if they dodge the golden orbs, they won't escape unscated.
Fortunately for the Immortals, their teamwork and general battle prowess allowed them to survive the onslaught.
Although the Immortals dodged the golden orbs, the golden orbs continued to swirl with the wind, slicing everything in their path even if it was a building, a piece of cloth, or an entire tree.
Chrys and Morgan surroundings felt like something some would call 'Hell on earth'. With the ground and buildings being picked up before getting shredded by the golden orbs and the fierce wind.
After a few more seconds of the tornado-like conditions, the wind, the earth quaking, and the golden orbs disappeared like they never existed.
The Immortals looked around at their immediate surroundings.
All the buildings, all the stalls, and all the plants around them have simply disappeared.
The only things left in the surroundings were the Immortals, the large crater-like formation they were stood on, and in the middle of the crater, Chrys and Morgan.
Before the Immortals could fully process what just happened, Morgan was already firing her arrows, forcing the Immortals to go on the defensive since a large distance was made between them and Morgan.
Chrys, who was stood next to Morgan, attacked with his earth spikes. Forcing the Immortals to deal with two different attacks.
After a few moments of just being attacked from a far. One Immortal had enough.
"Aaarh!" She let out a war cry as she sent her spear covered in Lucile, hurling towards Morgan.
Chrys looked at the spear, before making an earth wall to block it before it could reach Morgan.
But the wall didn't stop there, instead, it grew larger, towering over the Immortals. Then after reaching a massive height, it began to fall.
The Immortals, who are about to have a massive wall fall on top of them, stood their ground and let out confident smiles.
They clumped up together, covered their hands with their Lucile, before they punched towards the gigantic wall.
"Ora! Ora! Ora!"
"Atatatata!"
The Immortals fearlessly sent punch after punch towards the tumbling wall.
Eventually, their efforts led to their Lucile bullets to push through and destroy part of the wall.
They courageously continued to punch parts of the wall until it crashed onto them.
After the dust settled, the wall revealed a sizeable hole in it's core, allowing the Immortals to survive.
"Aah, haven't had this intense of work out in ever!"
"Hah, I guess we are starting to see what they're made off, and why everyone else is afraid."
"Come on, Sisters! We can't pass on this chance to take them on!"
With new found energy, the Immortals charged towards Chrys and Morgan, who were slowly getting surrounded.
Morgan then whispered. "Are they close enough?"
Causing Chrys to reply. "Yes, do you want to go ahead now?"
Morgan gave him a slight nod before asking. "Are you going to be okay... until I get back?"
Chrys smiled at her as he continued to attack the Immortals with earth spikes. He then said. "Do you think these Immortals are enough to take me down?"
"I'm not talking about you getting physically hurt." Morgan responded as she let loose another barrage of arrows.
The smile on Chrys' face disappeared as he replied in a solemn tone. "You know me so well... I'll be fine... go."
After saying that, Chrys formed a tall, highway-like formation starting from the ground beside them and into somewhere far away from the crater they stood on.
Morgan withdrew her bow, placed a hand on Chrys' shoulder before saying. "It will be fine." Before running up the stone walkway.
When the Immortals saw this, they tried to stop Morgan, but Chrys stopped them by sending them away by either a strong gust of wind, by sending his golden orbs, or by his earth spikes.
As Morgan continued to run, Chrys raised his hand onto the air as a golden glow formed on his hands and onto the air around him.
The bright golden glow continued to expand into the air, causing the Immortals to be cautious even though the golden glow went past them without any issue.
"Close. Curtain."
Once the golden glow formed a giant dome-like sphere around the Immortals and Chrys, it stopped.
The Immortals then stopped their movements and stood around watching Chrys and Morgan, who was still running on top of the stone walkway.
An Immortal then covered her arm with Lucile before she punched towards the golden dome around them.
Her Lucile bullet just bounced off the bright golden aura surrounding them.
Seeing what just happened, another Immortal said to Chrys. "Looks like you're trapped in here with us." She then let out an enchanting smile.
"An interesting way of putting it." Chrys replied, looking very indifferent.
Meanwhile on the stone walkway, Morgan passed the golden curtain without any issues. She continued to run freely, as most of the Immortals are locked inside with Chrys.
As she continued to run, a man somewhere in town was sent into a building. His pink, braided hair was covered in dirt as blood dripped on his bronze-skinned body.
This man was of course, Set. He pulled himself out of the ruins before he slammed his right arm encassed in metal into a wall.
Seeing as how that didn't scratch the metal at all. Set ripped off every single bandage on his body, exposing his muscular body riddled with various scars.
One scar stood out of the rest, it was a massive burn scar on the right side of his body. It starts from his side all the way up to the side of his face.
Although the scar seemed to have healed up, the way the scar is formed suggest that the flame that burned him started from where his right arm should be.
He streched his shoulders as he stared down the Immortals, who were cheerfully smiling infront of him.
He entered his stance and got ready to fight once more despite his injuries that seemed to have worsened due to being opened and receiving more from the battle right now.
Seeing Set's unwillingness to go down. The Immortals giggled and smiled at him before they charged at him to continue their battle.
