Within the Jade capital's palace, two people sat on a large table filled with delicious looking food. It was Lord Jade and Jade, the princess, to be exact.
As they ate quietly, Lord Jade asked. "How's your day going so far?"
"Better than yesterday, Father."
"I heard what happened yesterday, Jade."
"..."
"I have nothing to say about it. All I heard was the usual."
"Just me getting mad and putting that... stupid on time out, is that correct?"
"Yes, that is correct."
As they continued to eat, a satisfied sigh of relief escaped Jade's mouth.
"Is something bothering you, Jade?"
"No, father. Maybe..."
"Go on. Speak to me as your father than your king."
"It's just that... something feels off, father."
"It's not this setting, correct?"
"It is not. I'm talking about the outside."
Lord Jade placed his cup onto the table, crossed his arms as he replied. "Yes. I feel it too. Is it the feeling that something is crawling on your back?"
"Yes..."
"It is a bit concerning. We just had a bad harvest, soon followed by a disease spread, and just last night, our chief of defence died."
"Mr. Han? I heard that there was a fire last night. It couldn't be..."
"Yes. He is dead. But let us not talk about such a thing on the table."
"Yes. But my concern still remains."
With an amused smile, Lord Jade asked. "Then, what do you propose we do, Jade."
Without a hint of hesitation, Jade replied. "I suggest we look into everything that is a cause for concern and try to find if something links them together."
With a smile still on his face, Lord Jade went back to eating after he said. "Very well. I'll leave it you then."
"Thanks, father."
After expressing their concerns, they continued to eat in a dignified manner.
Meanwhile, just a few rooms away in the same building, chaos manifested itself in physical form.
"Get down here, you stupid monkey!" A slender woman screamed, who was wearing a light blue outfit.
"No. Have banana!" Said a man on the supporting beams before throwing down bananas.
"Ooh, potassium. Thanks, Sun." Said a woman eating at the table.
"No problem. Just playing my role."
"If you want to play your role, do it somewhere else!"
"No... Banana? Throw."
"You stupid- Rargh! I'm coming up there!"
"Oh no, please don't~!"
As abuse was happening up above, a man on the table shook a sleeping woman, saying. "Sumsa, you probably shouldn't sleep on the dining table, especially if your with us. And~ now you have an banana on your head."
"Mnm..."
"Wake up, Sumy! It's morning! You are free!" The woman eating the banana from earlier, screamed.
As this was happening, Matt and Mae are currently having an arm wrestling competition.
Then, a young lady turned to the side, looking towards a man working the kitchen before asking. "Brad, when is the food going to be ready? Everyone has already gone rabid."
Then, the man in the kitchen said. "I'll only tell you if you say the majic word."
"What? Daddy?"
"Hahaha! Sure..."
Then, a man joined in the conversation, saying. "Why is she allowed to say it? I demand equality!"
The man in the kitchen then replied. "Because you make it weird."
"I do no such thing, Daddy."
"No, just... no."
"Equality!!!"
As everything was going on, Tat, the man with the rat tail was casually sipping some water as the chaos ensued around him.
Then, a banana landed perfectly into his cup. He heard a faint 'Goal!' come from above right after.
With a vein popping in his head, he grabbed the white staff with little light green markings from his side before saying. "That's it!!! You're gone!"
As Tat and the slender woman tried to take down the man jumping within the support beams, the man in the kitchen then yelled. "Food's ready!!!"
As if a wave of goodness came over the room, everyone behaved themselves and sat on their respective chairs.
Right after being given their share, it went back to usual.
As the chaos ensued, Matt, who was interwoven into the madness, thought to himself. "Hmm, Mr. Han is dead."
"A weird coincidence that he met that man the same day an accident happened."
"That's disregarding the fact that he was the only victim of the fire. Thankfully, Mr. Han's family is safe."
"But... I don't think that man is that careless. But still..."
Knocking him out of his thoughts, a voice called out. "Matt!"
"What? You want me to feed you?"
"Shut. You're going to visit her today, right?"
Matt's face formed a bit of seriousness as he responded. "Yeah..."
"I brought some flowers the other day. Go ahead and change the ones there."
"Aye, aye, captain!"
As they ate surrounded by the sheer chaos they just eminate, people slowly got up and went to do their own thing.
As this was happening, a young lady called out. "Deniss, we received a letter from Ling that she got a letter from him. Go get it."
Then, a man, looking very hesitant and like someone stabbed him in the face, asked. "Do I really have to do it?"
"Yes..."
"Aaaah!" The man let out a long, pained groan before walking over to the door, moving in a slow, slumped manner.
"Stop your bitching, Deniss, and just do it." Said the young woman.
"Uuuuuugh!"
Then, just like that, everyone left to do their own thing.
Before leaving entirely, Matt got a handful of flowers from the slender woman. After giving a nod, he left the Jade palace.
Walking towards the main gate out of the courtyard, Matt met up with two girls on the way.
"How are you two doing today?"
"Piss off!" Said a woman wearing a yellow outfit and four different hats on her head.
"Aww, don't be sad I got more sleep time than you. Not that I needed that much sleep, unlike you, little baby bitch."
"Shut up, before I lock you in your room once more!"
"Do it! I dare you! You won't!"
Before a brawl erupted, the other person, a girl in a cyan outfit wearing a ponytail, said. "Are you two done? I still have stuff to do."
"Oh, where are you going, Joan. Finally finding a man? Don't worry, we support you even if you don't find one."
"Shut up, Matt!"
"Hehehehehe!"
"You're lucky you have those flowers in your hands or we would have already stomped on your face!"
"Oh no, don't do that~!"
"LEAVE!"
"LEAVE!"
"Hehehehe!"
With Matt out of the picture, still giggling like the gremlin that he is, Sumsa looked at Joan before asking. "We should leave before I decide to chase him."
"Agreed."
"Where we are going again?"
"The Praying Lotus."
"Ah, yes. Let's go."
Meanwhile, on the side of the palace, a woman wearing a pink fluffy outfit said to a man. "Just do it, Deniss! No one else will do it!"
A man in long, flowing orange clothes, looking like someone jammed something up his behind, whined. "Eugh! Do I really have to? She could just come down here on her own, can't she?"
"You of all people should know, she almost never leaves the mountains. Now, stop being a little bitch and just do it!"
"Aeughhhhh!" The man replied by turning his voice into a dinosaur.
Then, a bulky man, wearing a dark green apron, approached, asking. "Shan, Deniss, what's going on?"
Both of them snapped their heads towards the bulky man as the man named Deniss, yelled. "Don't you get involved, Brad! I'm currently winning this argument!"
Then, the woman named Shan turned towards Deniss, saying. "Winning my butt! You were literally just replying noises towards me!"
"And! It was working!"
The bulky man named Brad then said. "With all of these informatiom laid out before me, as the judge, jury, and executioner, You, Deniss, will now be called the loser of this match."
"Shut up!"
"Here, I'll help your sorry ass!"
After saying that, Brad walked behind the sulking Deniss before extending his hand to the side.
Then, a solid plank of wood, almost as large and tall as Brad, came towards him, fitting Brad's hand perfectly into the handle that has been craved out.
And with a wind up, Brad swung towards Deniss, who has curled up into a fetal position, sending him flying in the air.
After tracing a beautiful arc in the sky, Brad yelled. "And that's a homerun! Oh yeah!!!"
Before turning towards Shan as he asked. "Do you also need help going somewhere?"
"No. It's me and Dianne's turn to go with the princess... And don't look so sad!"
With a tear forming in his eye, Brad said with an unmovable smile. "But, I want another homerun."
"No! Get that stupid 'billboard' away from me! Brad!"
"Got to get a highscore, Shan! Get back here!"
At the same time, on the otherside of the palace, a man with a green hairpiece was walking peacefully down a corridor.
Then, a person, dressed in glamorous clothes walked down a hallway from the side. Their straight, long black hair going with the wind.
Immediately bowing, the man greeted. "Princess Jade, how may I, Kenny, help you today."
Then, the person before him said with a strained, high pitch voice. "Kneel before me, mortal! For I, Princess Jade, the one who fell down the stairs twice in the same day."
Hearing the odd voice, Kenny then looked up, only to burst out laughing when he saw the face of the person.
It was the face of a hairy young man with the facial features of a monkey, dressed with a wig.
"Who told you to look at me, you lowly low life?! Hahahaha!" The man dressed like Jade couldn't keep it in anymore and also began laughing.
"Hahaha! Oh, great and mighty vase breaker, dispense me with some of your wisdom."
Doing the strained, high pitch voice once more, the man dressed as Jade, said. "I, Princess Jade of the Jade capital, daughter of Lord Jade, once watered the plants with cooking oil, which somehow got set on fire, totally wasn't me. Hahaha!"
"Pfffft!"
As the two men were laughing their lungs out, a voice from behind them said. "Sun... what the fuck?"
Hearing the voice, the men turned towards the source, only to find Jade, just standing there with an extremely complicated expression.
The two men stood upright before greeting. "Jade! Nice morning, right?"
Jade! Good morning."
Feeling her judging, confused stare, Sun removed the wig from his head and took of his outfit before they greeted once more. "Good morning, Princess Jade."
"How are you doing today, Princess Jade?"
"What... the... fuck?
Seeing as Jade was still trying to figure out what is happening, the two men, Sun and Kenny, began elbowing each other.
And as if coming to a silent conclusion, the two men ran as fast as they could away from the still confused Jade.
A few minutes after they left, Jade remained standing there, still trying to figure out what happened.
Then, a slender woman dressed in light blue approached her asking. "Princess, are you okay? Do you still want to go?"
Slowly, Jade turned towards her, with her still extremely complicated expression, before replying in a dead pan tone. "Yes, Dianne. Have Tat and Mae go towards the mine and investigate for abnormalities."
Giving a little nervous nod, Dianne stated. "Shan won't be joining us for a while. But, are you okay, Jade? You're looking a little pale."
"I'm fine. Just... give me a few seconds to catch up."
"O-okay."
