Now, this is not how I thought I would meet the regressor... But this makes things completely different...

I did not stay dazed much longer and greeted the mother of regressor with a bow.

"Igarashi Uchiha, Greeting the wife of patriarch!"

To which she responded with a small nod probably too exhausted to speak. I left my father to talk with the patriarch and went towards the crib and looked at the baby who by listening to my father's talks with the patriarch is a female...

As I was nearing the crib I heard could some cries from the baby...
When I reached near enough I had to tiptoe to see her and when our eyes met she stopped crying and give me from I could distinguish a heartwarming smile...

I don't know why but I think she was... Happy? To see me?

As my father and patriarch heard the cries stop they came near the crib looking at the child my father whispered to the Patriarch.

"Looks like she likes my son."

I could hear that because of my high hearing, In my last life I learned to avoid my "Parents" abuse. You see, Whenever my father returned from work he would like to beat me so I learned to hear further so that I could hide before they can get to the basement... But that's the past.

After finishing all the casual talks and some reports which he reported in a private room. My father took me back home as it was late I was sent straight to bed.

As I lay in bed I thought that I need to get stronger as I met the regressor earlier than planned... So I called my system to choose something I had delayed for some time...

[ Focused on the physical body and close combat. ]
[ Effect: Advanced talent for swordsmanship and strength enhancement. ]

[ Archer ]
[ Focused on long-range attacks and a small amount of physical body. ]
[ Effect: Advanced talent for long-range weapons and improves focus. ]
.
[ Berserker ]
[ Focused on the physical body and brute force. ]
[ Effect: When emotions out of control give a high boost to everything but lose rationality.]
.
[ Scout ]
[ Focused on gathering information and disguising. ]
[ Effect: Improved agility and some skills related to information gathering.]
.
[ Mage (Not available as this world had no mana) ]

[ Ilustionist ]
[ Focused on deceptions and tricking the mind of the opponent. ]
[ Effect: Gives user some skills and increases mental power. ]
.
[ Tamer ]
[ Focused on befriending monsters and animals to fight for the user. ]
[ Effect: Gives the ability to feel the emotions of animals and some skills related to taming. ]
(Not recommended as this world has close to none monsters.)

[ Healer ]
[ Focused on healing. ]
[ Effect: Increased talent in any kind of healing. ]
.
[ Necromancer ]
[ Focused on gathering an army of the dead to fight for the user. ]
[ Effect: Allows the user to control dead. ]
