Ch14 Road to Rome

On the road for a while, they have finally almost arrived in Rome. Nekomi is still in the Fulvia talking to, well… Fulvia herself.

“So you're telling me that a blue haired girl inspired you to go racing?” Fulvia asked, “Wow, that's interesting for an origin story.”

“Yeah, I know, but that’s all I can remember.” Nekomi then answered, “That’s what I am trying to figure out, getting my passion for racing back, but I do have a feeling that I am going to find her one day. And I have to admit, this whole trip does actually make me feel better. ”

“Traveling to different places always makes everyone feel better. Maybe the one that you are finding is actually one of us. Who knows?” then Fulvia chuckled a bit. “Imagine you are finding one of us and then she literally appears in front of you! Chances are really low but it is never zero.”

“I don’t even know whether I can meet her or not, but what I do know is that we are going to meet your children.” Nekomi then replied.

“Don’t call them children, the youngest one is twice as old as you. But you will definitely like them anyway.”

“I sure will.”

After a while they finally arrived in Rome. They all split according to plan and they are meant to find each of the daughters.

“So Nekomi, what are we exactly looking for?” Cossie then asked through the phone.

“In your case, imagine a car that sounded like a Ferrari but looks a bit odd. I know not many people have heard of Lancia’s before but they usually look odd in a good way.” Nekomi then replied.

“What the hell do you mean by that? That’s not even helpful at all.” Seb frustratingly said.

“You will instantly know it when you see it.” Nekomi said, “I promise you they will make you feel interested at least, and cause an erection at most.”

The boys then laughed at Nekomi’s analogy.

Fulvia then said through the phone, “I know some of you haven’t seen them yet so how about let me send you all a picture of them.”

Angeline then said, “Thanks but there is no need, I am literally looking at her.”

As she is the only one in her group who have actually seen her, they all looked at the direction where Angeline is facing. In front of her there is this girl with pigtails and a frog hoodie, just simply carrying some groceries.

“She doesn’t look that bad doesn't she? Are you sure that is the one?” Cossie then asked.

“Looks can be deceiving my friend, wait what are you doing?” Angeline said as Cossie suddenly came in front of the girl. She, being cocky, seems to think that approaching her head on is the best idea to do.

“Sup, you looking fine today. How you doin’ ” Cossie then said.

“So… who are you exactly?” the girl then asked.

“I’m Cossie, I don’t exactly know your name. But I wonder, is your last name Lancia?” Cossie then further approached the girl while she slowly backed off.

“Wait how did you- No, stop what are you doing here? What made you come for me?”

Meanwhile at the same exact time, Quattro immediately found her old enemy. It’s a woman with short hair and white shirt. She is now currently just sitting on a bench taking a rest. The entire group is hiding behind her still wondering when is the right time to strike.

“Alright she is here, we need a plan. Any ideas?” Josephine then asked.

Quattro then said, “I don’t know but all I know is that I want to kick her ass so bad-”

The woman felt that someone was looking at her, slowly turning her head behind.

Alice saw this and warned the others, “Shush! She might have just heard you. Keep your voice down.”

Quattro being a bit clumsy started to freak out. Accidentally tripped and fell out of the bushes that she was in. The woman immediately saw her and tried to help, “Mama mia! Are you-” She then stopped and noticed that she is Quattro herself. “Wait, Quattro, what are you doing here?”

Others in the group knew she screwed up and she was left with an awkward smile.

“I can’t believe that this is still happening. That’s it I’m leaving!” The woman spoke as she stood up, a flash appeared and a sports coupe appeared in front of her and she got in and drove away.

“Thanks Fatty! Now we need to chase her now!” Clara said as she creates another flash and turns into a car with her inside it. The others soon followed.

On the other hand, Cossie is still approaching the girl rather aggressively. She is being backed into a wall. “Alright kid, calm down, I just want to make some extra friends here. We are the same kind and do the same thing. There is no need to-” Cossie then got interrupted by a flash of light, then got knocked off by a seemingly invisible force. Then an alien looking car appeared then drifted away.

“So they are real!” Cossie exclaimed.

“Told you so!” Angeline said and also turned into a car and chased it.

Mini, hearing their conversations from the radio, said “Well shit. Team C hope you guys didn’t screw things up this time. I have sent you a picture of the person that you are looking for. So, have you guys found it yet?”

“Target locked, in a small coffee shop. She do be looking way better compared to the photos.” Seb then said. Later a coupe rushed by the coffee shop which is being chased by other cars, the woman that they are looking for knows her sibling is in trouble immediately turned into a hatch and followed the cars. “And… Now she’s gone.”

“Be quick guys, this is going to be a rough ride.” Mini then said, as she was left frustrated and groaned while grabbing her hair.
