Heaven, was an artificial island located in the middle of the great Intican ocean. For some reason it's residents were known as angels and gods. Although they looked as if they were normal humans, they weren't. They were comparatively stronger, and most notably their blood was blue. Simply taken, angels were the commoners, and gods were the rulers. It was super easy to tell apart gods from angels. Gods, happened to be albino.
This island was divided into five parts such as North, South, East, West and Central Heaven. Each part acted as a different province. All four provinces from North to west fell upon Central Heaven's rule. A god was assigned to look over each province, they were more formally known as kings. The god that overlooked all other kings, was known as High King. (Yeah, too much kings here…) The High King resided in Eden, also known as Central Heaven.
Never the less, Heaven was one of the most technologically advanced kingdoms in Geo. Aside from the Atlantians that lived deep down in the depths of Oscilous.
One thing I hated was technology.
I always found it hard adapting into it. As I was for some reason, born and raised in the Elven kingdom, where no one used this "new technology", I got to experience it only after I arrived here. Now elves rejected the new technology, saying it brings destruction upon this world. So, as a result of that, they live quite an isolated life from the outer world. Even though I didn't like it at first, it seems quite fine, as I had gradually started to get a hold of it. I'm able to use a mobile phone now, all thanks to Gwen. And that alone, was a great victory.

Coming to the present, this academy I had joined was one of four main schools that taught magic, and other related subjects in heaven. Today a particular freshman had caused sort of a scene at the garden (front part of the academy). That would be me. I had successfully managed to destroy my image on the very first day here. Though it wasn't my fault. It was that pervert that had fondled with my ear. The stares I got from others before… that, I didn't care. I was used to it, since the day I came here.
Elves were such a rare sight.
To think about it again, I guess I understand why Gwen insisted in bringing her along so much.
**You've just known me for two months...**
Gwen was sitting beside me yawning nonstop. The long speech may have been too long for her.
We were in the main hall. The academy had finally called us in for the induction ceremony to begin. I had been saved during the incident earlier by a petite woman, who turned out to be our principal.
She had been on her daily stroll around campus when she'd spotted us. **How old was she?** The perv- ahem, upperclassman, had vanished from the spot as soon as he had heard who's voice it was. However, I'd have to bare with being the topic among first years for another month or so.
After the speech ended, next came the principals speech. She was sitting in the middle of the front row. May be cause of her size, I didn't notice her till she was half way up the stage. Her dress, that had a more westernized style to it, made her look almost like a doll.
She was** kinda** cute.
She made it up the stage, then walked towards the podium.
Now I can't see her at all.
Our doll **ahem** principal, was completely hidden by the huge podium. Seconds later we heard fingers snapping, just then some teacher or some one in the minor staff came running with a small stool.
He placed it behind the podium.
Now we could see her.
**Where did that huge bodyguard of hers go?**
Amid the huge podium you could see her face. Her eyes were glowing. Their blue color could be seen by from the farthest corner of the hall.
DUD DUD
She tapped the microphone twice.
Gwen beside me, was still with a sleepy expression on her face.
"I see many interesting idiots this year"
Idiots..!
Then she looked around the hall as if scanning each and every one of us. She gave a slight grin.
Wait, was she looking at me?
Her expression changed shortly.
"My name's Vanessa Gremory.",she continued. "I'm your boss from now on, or to put it simple I'm your principal."
What's with the way she talked?
"Y'all have passed the most difficult entrance test on heaven to be able to be sitting here, but don't you be so proud about that. Because you're going to face many more tests and exams during your three years here. Many of you will probably be expelled based on your yearly exam results."
Wow, what a speech. She was already scaring off the first years.** sigh ** She seemed to be grinning again. Was she having fun?
I was expecting this though. This very academy happened to be the best out of all four other academies in Heaven, but still this wasn't something a principal would say on the very first day, or was this how things happened here?
"How ever I congratulate you for being accepted, and wish you good luck for the rest of your time here. Thank you."
Saying so Ms. Gremory hopped down from the stool she'd been standing on, and proceeded off the stage.
What a… short speech. I thought it would be longer, but turned out to be surprisingly short and… kind of rude. What a strange place this was. Perverts, and now a principal that looked almost like a little doll. Why was she staring at me though? Although it was more like she was grinning the entire time.
"Good morning everyone."
A familiar voice filled the hall. Those that were seamlessly chatting on silenced, and the whole atmosphere dropped to dead silence.
I looked at Gwen, she seemed shocked.
Then I looked at the podium.
There he was, the pervert.
"My name's Gabriel Westwoolf", he said. With a smile that cut right through me.
