Liam And Harriet

Liam tried to move his body.

He tightened and loosened his grip on his hand, opening and closing his fingers over and over again.

Since morning he had been trying to find his father's walking cane, but he couldn't find it anywhere. His body ached a lot, especially when he tried to move, so he tried to find a cane to lean on.

Could it be one of the things he had forgotten?

"I found this, Young Lord," Daniel said and handed him a cane. But what he brought him was actually just part of a cane.

With one look, Liam knew it was his father's walking cane. But the handle was missing. The tip was also sharp as if it had been cut by a sharp object. Even the engraving of his father's name was cut in half.

"You didn't tell me anything about this," Daniel said as Liam gave him a questioning look.
